Yeah - and that was not all that easy a goal despite many calling it a "tap in."

It's always so interesting the guys over the years who can maintain consistency at the national team level despite having simply empty seasons for club. It's one of the reasons I'm guardedly optimistic that Wood will have a reasonable B2 season.

Wood surprises with US team in France

 

Article just gives a brief synopsis of the match, stating that it was a surprise that the squad was able to tie France. Mentions that Bobby had a pretty decent match. States that Julian Green scored and that he was once a "Hamburger" haha.

The article also mentions that Bobby is officially on the "For Sale" list. I know there were rumblings that he may go to to MLS, but that the price was too high...I wonder if HSV has come down a bit from their demands?

Meanwhile they're bringing in Haraguchi from Fortuna and Asano from Stuttgart, while retaining 14-goal scorer Füllkrug. Could be a good move, especially if H96 play with 2 CFs or if Bobby can chip in minutes on the wing.
