more Bobby... Leading the line for his country tonight 👊@BobbyS_Wood starts up front for the USA against @FAIreland! 🇺🇸 #USMNT #nurderHSV https://t.co/4qVogq6pei— HSV English (@HSV_English) June 2, 2018
Yeah - and that was not all that easy a goal despite many calling it a "tap in." It's always so interesting the guys over the years who can maintain consistency at the national team level despite having simply empty seasons for club. It's one of the reasons I'm guardedly optimistic that Wood will have a reasonable B2 season. german HSV weighs in: (Wood hits and loses.) 1003029251866677248 is not a valid tweet id As per stereotype, "English HSV" less cut and dry. .@BobbyS_Wood's goal wasn't enough to stop #USMNT slipping to defeat in Dublin. Not all of HSV's loyalists are won over... Hardly. O'Shea went off after half an hour so he didn't concede a goal in his last game.Wood is still terrible. He cannot finish. I thought the lack of creativity argument was dead by now. If you demand a huge contract you better score when you are given the chance. He doesn't. https://t.co/CQF73G5EJH— HSV News English (@HSVnewsEN) June 2, 2018 1003009394026729472 is not a valid tweet id elsewhere Spanish HSV wondering if HSV will be carrying the most expensive forward pair in B2 history.

Article just gives a brief synopsis of the match, stating that it was a surprise that the squad was able to tie France. Mentions that Bobby had a pretty decent match. States that Julian Green scored and that he was once a "Hamburger" haha. The article also mentions that Bobby is officially on the "For Sale" list. I know there were rumblings that he may go to to MLS, but that the price was too high...I wonder if HSV has come down a bit from their demands?
The Kicker blurb mentioned above makes the point that Hannover has jettisoned several attackers this offseason. Meanwhile they're bringing in Haraguchi from Fortuna and Asano from Stuttgart, while retaining 14-goal scorer Füllkrug. Could be a good move, especially if H96 play with 2 CFs or if Bobby can chip in minutes on the wing.
This is saying contact has been made. Hamburg are apparently seek 3mil Euros. RedRevolution96 @RedRevolution13 5h5 hours ago Der #HSV soll laut #NP bereit sein, #Wood für drei Millionen Euro Ablöse komplett gehen zu lassen. Kontakt wurde bereits aufgenommen. #h96
Kent Brockman: Mr. Simpson, how do you respond to the charges that petty vandalism such as graffiti is down eighty percent, while heavy sack beatings are up a shocking nine hundred percent? Homer Simpson: Aw, you can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. Forfty percent of all people know that. Kent Brockman: I see. Well, what do you say to the accusation that your group has been causing more crimes than it's been preventing? Homer Simpson: Oh, Kent, I'd be lying if I said my men weren't committing crimes. Kent Brockman: [pause] Well, touché.
Lost in all this; has been Bobby Wood fighting to the death for Hamburg's relegation survival last year on a screwed up knee and making it worse thereafter. Love the kid. Never walks when it counts.
