Worst was the immediate appealing for a phantom foul/hand ball. If he concentrated on the finish rather than leaving it to the ref then they would have a point. Grinds my gears.
I haven't seen a good replay, and the Fox shot on the live play was pretty wide, but it was a low cross from the right Bobby was set up far post at the 6. Lots of bodies in the box, looked like he had room to put it far post, but had a player right on his shoulder and pushed it wide while being challenged. Need to see a good replay to see how easy/makeable it was, but it was certainly a great chance. I'm not sure anyone knows what Bobby's coach said to him after, though. He pointed to where the play was but it was not any kind of big moment. I'd take that analysis with a grain of salt.
Highlights with Bobby's first good chance (which he did well with - nice save), but not the ET one. But oh the defending on Bayer's first goal. SMH.
The ratings are in the 4s now, commenting on the several chances he fashioned for himself and teammates. Now put the ball in the damn net!
Yeah, while "unlucky" might be taking it a bit too far, that chest and turn goes in a decent percent of the time. Nice reflex save. Keeper gets down very fast... but the ET shot, just got to find a way to at least keep it on frame... Wood is still a decent striker and is never likely to be a great striker. Be nice for him to help keep this team up though. Dunno know if it's possible. Meanwhile: per googletranslate. "Before the season, Bobby Wood and six-million-euro purchase André Hahn were the great hopes for a stormy HSV season. Nope! Both have developed into big problem children, had to settle for Leverkusen (1: 2) with the Joker role. Both received after their brief assignments a special praise from coach Bernd Hollerbach. "After his goal, I experienced a completely different André Hahn on the pitch. The sense of achievement has done him good. That's what we need as a team, "said Hollerbach, who was also pleased with Wood:" When Bobby came home from the bench, he looked liberated. He was there, was explosive. Hamburg lose 1-0 on an own goal after a Johansson shot. Bobby had the turn over that led to the goal. Hamburg look like they are done for. It's too bad because they have a solid defense.
