agreed. at this point i am not bothered what it takes to get him out even if it is Sir Bobby playing godfather or Pogba's recent "performances" but he needs to go.

it's funny that there has been so much talk about Arsène being past his sell date because Mourinho might very well be too. both are far too arrogant and stuck in their own beliefs to change and have the majority of the fans offside

That is enough justification to bench him Saturday. It doesn't have to be a long thing, just have him on the bench to start and be the first offensive sub, if required.
It's just about making a point that his overall play has not only been up to par, but also that such high number of giveaways definitely do not help the team in getting results.

What do you see in Allegri?

Because I do not see much.

A flexible coach, with a good track record. Someone who will likely get the most from the sum of his parts, in terms of players.

He's a very smart and astute manager in my opinion without a massive ego either.

I'm less concerned with playing style than some. I don't think we need a "visionary" either. That's just silly romantic talk.

2 CL Finals in 3 years is pretty impressive. Sure, they got schooled, but there have been much more talented teams that have done far less (us).

You want a manager to put correct priorities of how we want to play:
    -Formation
    -Attractive football

The talent he has though. We need a manager that can make Smalling look like Rio because of his training methods and understanding of the game.

I'm with you, but give me an example or two of a manager that is available that can do that.

Conte did wonders with Victor Moses and Gary Cahill. He won a league title, but now look at him. He's about to get the sack.

I want a manager to first maximize our existing parts. Then supplement with recruitment.

I want a manager who can extract blood from a stone too. They don' exist though. Period. Not one.

I'd settle for a manager who can maximize our strengths and minimize our weaknesses.

I like how this is being discussed as if there's any chance of Jose getting sacked.

I thought he did well at Milan.

He got a lot out of challenging players like El Shaaraway and Balotelli and won trophies too.

The onto Juventus. He didn't completely rewrite the book. He worked with a lot of the groundwork Conte put down and only gradually made his tweeks over time, with continued success.

He's proven to be pragmatic without being dogmatic/inflexible.

I think those traits are so key in this modern age where you've got numerous high spending clubs across Europe. You need to maximize your assets, which is where Mou is struggling right now.

Even with our dollars, we can't outspend everyone, on every player, every summer.

Nobody can anymore as you've got numerous big spenders across Europe.

Sanchez may already regret joining United - Paul Ince

    www.si.com/soccer/2018/03/15/paul-ince-claims-alexis-sanchez-already-regrets-joining-man-utd-after-ludicrous-ucl-performance

Really hoping he does not of course, but if Sanchez were to flop at United, it would not be a good look for Jose. He's enjoyed his share of successes over the years, no doubt about that.
However, the list of top players he's either fallen out with, could/would not fit into his system, or simply failed to give a real chance to, is a who's who of some of the top players in recent years.
Kaka (one often glanced over, but he was still a terrific player in his prime when Jose was there), Casillas, Ronaldo, Hazard, KDB, Cuadrado, Salah. There are others, but that's a heck of a list, of which Pogba, Sanchez and even Martial are very much TBD at this point.
It's also worth noting what the common denominator is with all these players, safe Casillas. Pretty interesting and speaks volume...

Can we sue Arsenal for selling us Danny Welbeck in Sanchez's body? There has to be some sort of rule there by FIFA concerning clubs selling fake players to other club

Welbeck can dribble and doesn't give the ball away as much.
