Well, I don't know about others but felt a little uneasy when he was selected to play in left again with martial supposed to replace him second half. Seemed like a continuation of the mourinho experiment.

We're not going to unload him this month, so he really has the remainder of the season to show what he's got. And he really should be considered in a wide right or central role. The left is Martial's without a shadow of a doubt now.
For a guy earning the biggest salary in the league, we're not seeing the performance level that is expected of him and therein lies the issue and why it may be time to consider cutting out losses in the summer, if we don't see a sharp improvement in his play.

Don’t sweat it. I seriously doubt Ole will engineer the kind of controversy at LW Jose did. The goal today was to give Alexis a chance to play into confidence and I think it’s fair to say Alexis looked very sharp today. But there’s no chance Martial will be frozen out or shunted to the right by Ole.

This would never happen under Ole. Sanchez on right with freedom to roam could be an excellent option for us.

Sanchez looked okay today; I wouldn't say he was excellent. His passing is something we need desperately. If Ole could find the right niche for him, I think he could have a strong positive impact for the rest of the season.

I didn’t think he was that bad today. And i certainly think that he could do a better job on the right than Mata. He should get a chance to play into form, IMO. But not at the cost of Martial.

Not sure if it's PL's worst, but one of our worst in terms of output.

We need to get rid of Sanchez ASAP. He still has something to contribute at a high level, but he's completely at odds with our recruitment strategy and his wages are astronomical. He doesn't fit the group we have. We could use an old head in attack who is cunning in the way we had Giggs years ago, but that guy can't take up a bunch of resources. We could pay for an Mbappe or for a Martial level talent at RW and a starting XI FB with money left over.

Who would sign him? He requires a complete free role ruining any defensive structure lw

Maybe China? Can’t see any big boys coming for him in Europe

I expect he would be a big get for a Chinese team, I don't know that he would want to go, but maybe by the summer he will be tired and more resigned to being away from the highest levels (tm) of the game.

China. Although he's a pretty fiery/competitive guy. Usually its the South American, laid back, flair players that jump at the chance to make some money in China.

Sanchez took a big, but step - OGS

    www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jan/26/ole-gunnar-solskjaer-manchester-united-alexis-sanchez-big-step-forward

Genuinely curious what Old's plan on regards to Sanchez is. Because of it comes down to a Martial vs Sanchez dilemma, Martial wins almost every time as far as I'm concerned.
For the remainder of the season, having him come correct would help, but beyond that, we can't forget he's on an extremely high salary. That type of money warrants supreme quality and being a locked down starter, which he isn't at this time (and may never be again).

His wages really are the problem. If he were on 100k/week he’d be a perfectly reasonable squad man to come on when Martial needs rest or us injured.

Yep, it has to be China. Maybe he join up with wherever Fellaini went and together become the nucleus of dominant Chinese club.

Sanchez finished 2018 with fewer goals than Chris Smalling - that says it all.

    Epic failure.

Ole post PSG:: I can’t do anything about Alexis Sanchez. When he plays he needs to find himself because we know there’s a quality player there..

This just sums up Sanchez in so many ways .. Ole has basically thrown the towel..
