The thing about Ozil is his costs to us are sunk

So should we get value from him, or waste the money?

    Managerial genius from Emery

But didn't Ozil play in a deep role with LT as 10?

I mean - the whole thing is so stupid I just cant be bothered to even analyse.

I know that Ozil was periodically dropping deep, but I'd really like to see heat map for the 2, or average position for the whole team. I can't seem to find these easily, perhaps because I don't subscribe to Opta or similar?

Ozil said (tweeted) something today venting about the Chinese abuse of the ethnic Uighur minority population (which are mostly Muslim) which has been systematically imprisoned, had temples destroyed, is being "reeducated," etc.

Won't endear him to the League and team's Chinese broadcast partners but the dude's right.

He's the GM of the Rockets, Tweeted criticism of China a few weeks ago, and got shut down by his NBA masters.

Love that he stood up...we ALL need to stand up to injustices. This issue is a travesty and have gotten no media attention good for Mesut.

Genocide is part of the fun and wacky world of fascism.

FWIW, every single English club would do the same thing which should trouble us even more.

What a catastrophe this year has been, and I fear 2020 will be worse.

Ozil should really look into finding a club in Turkey also.

He is down to the last year of his contract so one suspects there is now more opportunity to offboard him, given he might sign off for 3 years elsewhere

We really need to free up his spot on the roster. I'd be open to basically giving him away as long as we don't have to eat salary.
