@Hendrix22 doesn't even like the players he defends, he just choses an unpopular opinion to defend forever. When it became popular to not sell Benzema due to market value or backup options, he rose up to push for the club to sell him as fast as possible.
How much do I owe you for that analysis, Zigmund? Benzema is one of my favorite players ever, how he plays the game is how it should be played, with intelligence and grace. But when Ronaldo left, he should have left too, seeing that his entire game was based on helping Ronaldo score, and it was the last opportunity to recoup some money off him. That and of course the fact that various injuries have taken away his speed, the reason that makes him get into less and less scoring chances and finish well less and less of those he gets into. Hence his terrible goalscoring record last year. He bounced back so far this season and I hope he continues but given his age and athleticism, and his beta mentality which was molded by Ronaldo's presence, I'm not sure it will last, as much as I hope it does. So no, I couldn't give a shit about whether an opinion is popular or not. That is for losers who see this forum as a substitute for social life. Which brings us back to Lucas Vazquez. He is a great player to have in the team and a poor performance here or there when entered as a sub doesn't change that. He is the perfect squad player.

He had some really nice touches, turns and dribbles yesterday. Shouldn't be a starter or the guaranteed 1st sub but he is still an very useful squad player.
This man deserves more respect than he receives. Since he's been back in the starting line up we have gone back to winning. He wasn't involved in the Eibar match and it's no surprise we lost that match. He is absolutely necessary in this team. Especially the way we play with the fullbacks high up. He might not be the most skillful but he gives more to this team than Bale or Asensio or Vinicius.
