Finally we can talk about someone in a Liverpool shirt. I've never seen him, hope he does well.

When I read the thread title I thought Michael Jordan has become a shareholder just like Lebron. Not a bright day for me.
    Welcome to LFC!!!

He and Carroll sound exactly the same -- "proud to come to a grrrate cloob that is massif".

So we now have a bit of Tyneside to the cloob.:D

    Welcome la

I was going to ask what Dwight Yorke's sex life had to do with the club.

Jordan signs? I just read an interview with Gerrard where he says after his recent physio work, his groin is now twice as strong as before!

In other news, Comolli hints we will now have 2 upfront for next season.

Someone on RAWK posted this quote by Xabi Alonso:

"In England, those qualities of playing it simple, being in the right position, reading the game, knowing the right moment to make things happen around you are not appreciated. Making a tackle, a run into the box, the spectacular things are more appreciated."

This, to me, explains why some people who have watched Henderson have not seen his quality.

Welcome to Anfield Jordan! Hopefully this is one of many good pieces of business for King Kenny. I saw him against the Reds 2 seasons ago at Sunderland in the infamous beachball game and thought he did a good job controlling the middle and making the simple pass (he was a 2nd half sub).

For those interested, here are his full performance details for Sunderland.

Funny to have a Geordie and a Mackem in the same side. :)

Hasn't looked too good against Spain but not many England players have. Obviously they're playing against the tournament favorites.

Doesn't help they look to bypass him once they gain possession!

Just like the senior side, they can look quite clueless.

It will be interesting to see the fee Rodwell commands when compared with what we paid for Henderson.

Just read an article on Henderson's move here, it linked this. Good build-up, I think he'll be a great asset in this pass-and-move system. And WOW, what a deadly service at the end of it. Imagine a few of those with Carroll on the end... :D
