Another week another eyebrow rasing lose for the LA GALAXY who at weeks end is officially dead last in the West with 11 points on 11 outings.

Chivas USA looked like a very inspired side combining very well and getting a goal form new comer Jose Correa who has been an instant success since his arrival. Juan Agudelo got to rock his new kit with a decent performance and Oswaldo Minda and Miller Bolaños had maybe there best games in a Chivas kit. So the question is now focused on Chivas…. Is this team gonna start to turn it around?

As for LA, the big question is if this team can’t produce with all 3 DPS out there how on earth are they going to survive no LD for the next few weeks, no Keane until after the EUROS and no Becks for the Olympics? LA GALAXY last week officially entered a rut now its crisis’s mode this team looks down right uninspired.

There were a lot of exciting games in MLS this week none better than the CAPS and Sounders a fun and pretty 2-2 draw! Colorado and KC provided their own 2-2 game with the return of Teal Bunbury! Teal scored 2 on the day to end a drought and lack of playing time. Can he keep it up. KC stops the bleeding with a draw and the Rapids are their usual inconsistent self.
In the East NY and DC to old enemies and MLS old guard are on top of the east as both teams are building and growing… NY are the best team in MLS no question now with 5 wins in a row and with henry and Marquez coming back NY can only get better.

GOLD STAR: The MLS Standings. They tell the tail. Inconsistency will not be good enough this year in MLS. Where a bad start to the season but decent finish could squeak you into the play offs it all but certain looks like having the best records and maybe 2 inconsistent teams might find their way in. A nice sign that only the best will be allowed into the final dance.

Gold Sticker: NY and DC. After shaky starts are now the best teams in the east. They are also the teams with the most goals.

Silver Star: Teal Bunbury, he’s back… can he keep it up.

Wooden Spoon. Toronto FC have lost all nine MLS games…. With Aron Winter looking clueless and a FO too scared to pull the plug because of a potential fan back lash what oh what will TFC do?
