    I don't think the writers pick their headline.........That's the point.

    But heh. Easier to confirm your own biases isn't it ?

    They almost never do.

    I actually think most of the Gaurdians coverage of MLS is good. I was responding to the headline and the comments before mine. But point taken

    Regarding an MLS team in Phoenix, AZ---not unless it has a dome please. A dome is a must for any sporting event in the Phoenix metro area. I mean, in Phoenix in the summer it's like a 100 degrees easily--in the shade! Yes it's dry heat, but it can get pretty intense. Now if you said northern Arizona then that would be a different story. An open air soccer stadium in the Sedona area with its mild climate and its beautiful red rock scenery would be beautiful--but then again that means any stadium there would be far away from the major metro area.

    The only place hotter for me than Phoenix in the southwest has been Las Vegas where the heat is so intense that you see the rocks have cracks in them.
