The most unsettling thing about this article is that Piazza claims there's no place in St. Louis to get a good meal - - WHAT?! St. Louis has more than its share of problems, but finding a good restaurant is definitely not one of them (particularly Italian). To me this sounds like sour grapes from a guy who's still bitter about his team getting clobbered by the Cardinals in the 2006 NL Division Series.
Having been fed a decade full of well-krafted lies as to an announcement on a Boston stadium coming in "60-90 days", it is very refreshing to have a moment of Not Fake News.
Agreed. And for beginning writers, that article is basically a template. It is sad when we feel moved to commend a short simple piece of truth delivering unwanted news, but that's where we are nowadays. Maybe starting to appreciate facts a little more.
He needs a few weeks to sulk and get over being eliminated from the world cup in the 2nd round. I'm sure he (and Fox) were under the impression that it was his god given right to go all the way to the final just because he showed up.....
