This is even better. Now the Uzbeks are like wounded tigers who would want nothing but a win in South Korea!

    Good job Kuwait!

  7. Congratulations to Kuwait :)

Good luck to Uzbekistan against South Korea.

Thanks man, and I hope both Iraq and Kuwait rise again and become the best Arab teams like during the late 70s and early 80s.

Haha I just saw some posts by m@ngo at the beautiful game, section of this site, looks like he is not ready to show his face around these parts of the site yet, can you blame him tho? His team lost to chocolate's team. :D

Congrats to the Kuwaities. As for the Uzbeks, I am really disappointed :(

    Uzbekistan2006, do'stimga,

3rd place is still a very realistic option, especially with Uzbekistan and Kuwait having equal goal differential. Uzbekistan just need to do as well vs South Korea and Saudi Arabia as Kuwait does. Then it will all come down to August in Tashkent!

    Xair.

Woah, man you are so honest! You guys were able to lose to the Kuwait, World Champions on the home 2-1. Man, what kind of team do you have to do that?!?! I wish Saudi Arabia was that strong to lose to Kuwait 2-1!!! I wonder when will he show up on the asian forums? I predict in one week!

Lol, so I guess its 2 embarrassing games = 1 month of not going to the Asian forums, or until Uzbekistan does something good. Hardluck to Uzbeks, must be hard to be in their place.

We best Korea 2-0, you lost to Korea 2-0, so we will win 4-0! HRhrhr, i doubt that, but that is the way some people on these boards use.

we tied with KSA and lost to Kuwait .... but it doesnt mean kuwait will win KSA or Korea ll win over Uzbek.. Only ALLAH knows... each NT team in our group is strong as well..
look at the europe they had result like 8:0, 4:0, 3:0 and so on in last WCQ matches... but in asia there hasnt been such big results because there is no big difference between 8 teams.. they are almost equal to each other..
    Am i right?

European WC Qualifiying system speads strong teams in many groups (8 I think) so you only see few strong encounters, (Czech vs Finland for example "a seven-goal thriller last night" I strongly recommend it)

in Asian first Qualifying rounds, we've seen big results too. however, in the final round, the teams are more or less even as you said.

I totaly agree with you Uzbekistan2006.

All 8 teams in Asia are almost equal.

I already mentioned that in the WC2006 qualifier thread...I said, "you never know what can happen."
