Play-by-play and pre, during, and post match analysis should be posted here.

Watching live here from Japan, where I'm doing JET program. My Japanese is terrible, though my mom's Japanese. Don't know much about the team. Help me out if you can.

    Nippon gambate!

I can't get this bloody coolstream to run... so if you guys can keep us updated, it would be very nice!... I want nothing less than a draw from Japan, so as this guy said... "gambate!!"

15 min in. Japan's first corner comes to nothing. Lots of lousy play. Nakamura and Salman? with yellows. Suzuki sucks.

Reckless challenge with boot high into Bahrain's shin = trip on the stretcher.

Japan's making lots of dangerous late chellenges.

I guess they figure they are gonna dive anyway so they might as well make it worthwhile.

29' Yet another free kick taken by Nakamura.

32' Nakata's very hard tackle... gives a free kick to Bahrain... off target.

    34'

Japan's first shot on frame is a harmless bouncing 40 footer from Nakata. All this despite setting up camp in Bahrain's third.
