Re: Poland-N.Ireland/Slovenia I cannot wait. Bagging 6 pts will be difficult here but absolutely essential. Obraniak's addition to the squad should light some fire and rejuvenate the boys. i still think that if we get 3 wins and one draw (czechs away) from the remaining 4 games - we should be able to qualify Let's pray that we are injury free, expecially Kuba, for these important matches.

Any idea why Leo isn't giving Majewski any more looks? I, too, would have forgotten about him, had he not scored for Nott. Forest today...
Wasilewski out after what could be a career-ending injury. http://www.sport.pl/pilka/1,65046,6...ski_brutalnie_zaatakowany__Dramat_Polaka.html Absolutely shocking - the photos are of the unwatchable kind due to the nature of the foul. And...this is the last thing we needed before these upcoming matches. Feel terrible for Wasyl whether his career is ruined or just this season.
Terrible, and shocking are not a big enough words. Though this will galvanize our NT, and we will "beat the stuffing" out of Northern Ireland and Slovenia.
what about Kamil Kosowski? his team qualified to Champions League and his performance is the best ever. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamil_Kosowski
APOEL path into the CL wasnt particularly difficult. Partizan isnt having a great yr, and FCK is well FCK. So im not that surprised by no Kosowski, even though our contingent at APOEL has played well and played a big part in their entry into the CL. I dont understand why Majewski isnt included. He's starting for Notts Forest, and doing well, from what ive seen. I am surprised by Sagan, after all essentially 3rd league player, who just recently became a starter for them again. (might have been some injury holding him back not sure, cause I am not up to date on League One matters) Come on Leo there must be someone else.
Marcin Wasilewski update. http://www.goal.com/en/news/1863/wo...marcin-wasilewski-could-return-to-training-in Plus other injury updates http://www.sport.pl/pilka/1,65046,6996972,El__MS_2010__Reprezentacja_trenuje_bez_Obraniaka.html

lucky to a degree, yes, but only because we played WAY too deep in the second half. losing lafferty made a big difference. i thought we were the much better team in the first half though.
Poland sucked completely, there are no excuses. And the inexplicable decision to remove Obraniak at halftime....watching that game was like a bad dream. Strangely enough, Poland may still end up at the top of the table, thanks mostly to the draw between Slovakia and the Czechs.
How does Boruc let that one go under him? Horrible defending. We can't beat a quasi-colony with how many people in it and we expect to win the World Cup playing against the Brazils and Spains of the world? Just horrible.
relax nobody said anything about winning the WC! if we're honest with ourselves, Poland goes (if we qualify that is) to the WC in South Africa to make up the numbers
Boruc Żewłakow, Bosacki, Dudka, Gancarczyk Błaszczykowski, Roger, M. Lewandowski, Obraniak, Krzynówek Brożek
