Parolo is a puss. Finally one half decent attack 40min into the half

De Rossi is so overated, he litterally runs like he is either constipated or hungover... their is so little sense of urgency in his play and considering the role he is asked to play, it is unacceptable.

hes coming off a serious injury and he is injury prone. PSG need him and we need him for the qualifiying run, he will at best get 20 minutes today. We have nothing to gain rushing him in, he was called up to asses his recovery and further his recovery via training in a controlled enviornment. This is not a controlled enviornment at all.

Eder is ********ing trash, he had that great meme run in the euros and that is about it. He is not fast enough and we already have Pelle on the field, we have no connecting player from midfield to forwards, we would have been better running SES soley for his speed.

Yeah, if you're going to play a team based 100% around counterattacking then you at least need to have forwards who run faster than your grandma. There was nothing wrong with repeating Conte's strategy, he did beat Spain after all, but this isn't repeating his strategy; this is going with the most defensive possible lineup and then adding in players from Conte's side who make zero sense outside of that context. Ventura is a moron and I hope the press eats him alive for this.

We should have made a push to bring in Ancelotti. Conte was fine, great even, but it's not like he won anything. There's no reason for Ventura to be treating his picks like it's 2007 (and then completely missing the point of why he made those picks by playing 100% defense).

On the plus side, Locatelli might be getting more space for Milan now, so there's that.

At least under Conte everyone had their movements and plays down and knew each other inside out. The communication was spot on. Looks like Ventura is just putting out a 352 without any of the other preparations having been done and it's bland. Formations aren't everything!

Ventura's tactics are an abortion. First he picks as many brick feet as he can so we can't maintain ANY possession...let along counter. Then he is instructing the team to PLAY IT OUT OF THE BACK instead of booting it forward and letting Pelle win aerial balls. Spain is pressuring the crap out of our back line and the brick feet keep turning it over. He's made ZERO corrections to that.

    What THE FCK!

I wonder if it might be helpful to have Verratti and Candreva on the field to be able to string more than 2 passes together.

Montolivo was a corpse out there and DDR isn't far behind.

I must say I like the fact that we don't have any possession. This is the kind of football I like, however our midfield looks embarrassing. We really need Verratti and Bernardeschi in there to get a move on. Montolivo has been awful. DDR has been ok, but nothing special. Glad Bonaventura is brought on but I don't think he is that good either. Our midfield really needs to get a move on. I knew Giacherinni was a key player for us.

You really can't blame Eder and Pelle yet, because they haven't even got hold of the ball much. However our defending has been spot on. We must reinforce our midfield as soon as possible. We are giving away possession so easily at home which is unacceptable.

Lets hope we can play better in the second half and get A LOT more crosses into the penalty box. Candreva would be useful as well.

Could not agree more. Look at the back line when Spain are in possession. Under Conte, they looked like the line had been drawn with a razor. Under Ventura, it looks like it's been bitten out by a dog. It's not just his weird picks; it's that he's completely missed the point of the formation.

Woah, save the long balls for the 2nd half. Don't want to make it too obvious that we have zero ideas.

True, and all that said, who cares about giving Spain possession at the center of the pitch?! It's not like they're going to score from there. Yeah, they might be trying to penetrate more but still little to show. Both teams are shit today, honestly.

That error could not have happened in a bigger game this qualifying. Why does it take a goal conceded to take the game to Spain? I think it's more than the coach. No confidence
