Thanks. I certainly like to see Iran play Italy. To me that would be a good prep for Portugal.

Does Iran have a new Ali Karimi to tout in the run up to the World Cup? I still remember in 2006 all the Iranians talking him up, you'd have thought he was a combination of Pele & Maradona.

I hate to talk about individual awards but Ronaldo in the champions league knockout stages last season was the most dominant I have ever seen a player against the best teams and players in the world.

To question his win in to not understand football.

even this season he's quite impressive with 9 goals in the group phase. he scored in every single CL game he played.

good weekend for Iranians abroad. alireza jahabakhsh scoring and becoming MOTM again, his team is 2nd in the eredivisie now. i think he can win the MVP for the eredivisie this season. he is a top 5 player in that league. sardar azmoun scoring in russia after a long cold run. karim ansarifard also got on the scoresheet for olympiakos. and steven beitashour becoming the first Iranian (and probably asian) player to ever win the MLS cup. while playing for the best side in MLS history (2017 toronto fc). although beitashour is probably not gonna get called up as we have better options at right back. he came to brazil 2014 but was benched the whole time. he also had a call up from the USMNT in the past as he was born in the USA but he also didnt make it for them.

that players name is also literally ali karimi. PL did not mean that is our best player. thats why he posted a pic of sardar azmoun in response to the quoted best player question.

Please we are Portuguese and also have Spain in this group, we have a million players that look good on YouTube but turned to be absolute shit. I could flood this page with clips of talented players who are no playing in minor leagues in places like Croatia.

I see Portuguese members have been active trying to piss Iranian members off. It shows we are scary!:cool: The banter is cool as long as it is not disrespectful.
It was obvious. Such random team selection for comparison...!:sneaky::sneaky::D

it will be a round 3 game and there are chances to see Spain already qualified to the 1/8 final before it.

Nah, i don't cross any lines. Bringing up another country's enemies sets off a unique chain reaction though. It was amusing to watch lol

Ronaldo is the main reason Madrid are 8 points behind Barca and in 4th place in La Liga right now. Isco, Modric, Kroos, Ascensio and Casemiro have been great. Navas has been solid. Bale has been injured and Benzema has been crap, but you expect those 2 things.

CR7 is way off his usual standard.

Not really. Moroccans usually don't mix football with politics. Even the football rivalry between us and Algeria has nothing to do with the political one.
Also la Liga is probably the most watched league in Morocco.

But if we want to dwell in history, I hope the group will end like the battle of three kings. The iranians can play the part of the Ottomans.
