Alright! so i am all over the Spain game :D :( and there are so much potential in this team for the coming years.. which make me a proud supporter for this awesome team and not to worry about it! Because Euro 2012 is OURS! you heard it here first!

alright, so the last game for this world cup.. Germany vs Uruguay!! we need Klose to score 3 or 4 goals so no one can catch up to him :)

    GO GERMANY!

Can anyone say loser's match? Not even an attractive opponent in Uruguay. Hopefully Klose can at least tie Ronaldo's record in this useless game.

We would be foolish to take this match lightly. Not to mention the extremely dangerous Forlan (is Suarez going to play?), even if the opponent were Burkina Faso we must still give it all we have. Especially after today's heartbreaking loss we owe it to ourselves to show what this team is capable of.

    Go Germany!!!

I hope both Mueller and Klose will start. Actually Klose will start for sure, n he needs to break some records. I want Mueller to win the top scorer award as well

Neuer, Podolski, Oezil, Mertesacker, Khedira, Boateng can be replaced, by Wiese, Jansen, Marin, Tasci, Kroos and Aogo respectively

And Kiessling should have some playing time in the second half.

This is what I want too. I want the rest of the team unchanged. There is no way that Klose is going to reach that record without the team support that he deserves.

Let the reserves play as this match means very little.

Gomez and Trochowski should definitely start as these two will never be at a World Cup again unless it's as a spectator.

I sure hope not, but if Loew remains in charge, you never know.

2006 was a must win game in front of the home crowd but this one is different.

I'm pretty sure the team won't be as motivated as well.

I hope Aogo, Tasci and Kroos start.

It's not disrespect, no player would made the final German 23 is a bad player.

I have Mexican neighbors that have rooted for every Latin team since their beloved got knocked out. Even got "snooty" when Spain won last night. Lol..I guess Spain speaks spanish...close enough right?

WIth that I want Germany to BURY Uruguay so that I can at least tell them that no team from the Americas placed as high as Germany.

Klose and Mueller need to run up the score so that Germany can keep the individual awards again.

All EUROPE final again... I like it.

I dont see the sence in a game for 3rd place anyway.

Give the bench players a chance, that would be a good sign.

All I care is that Klose gets his goal. 2 goals would be gravy. Mueller starts as consolation for missing the last match.

It's not a friendly so Germany should not need any special motivation to win. And please press the hell out of them and play aggressive.

That's right. Klose has to get those two goals. For that, if the rest of the German team has to play to its fullest potential so be it. Loew must start with the best 11. This is the least he can do for a striker who has served the NT well for a decade.

I hope we start with the first choice 11 to get Klose the record.

    ----------------Neuer------------------
    Lahm---Mertesacker---Friedrich---Jansen
    ----------Schweini---Khedira------------
    Mueller----------Oezil------------Podolski
    ----------------Klose-------------------

Bring Kroos, Marin and Aogo (so he can at least have a few minutes of playtime) in the second half.

    -Neuer-
    -Boateng-Taski-Badstuber-Jansen-
    -Khedira-Kroos-
    -Muller-Oezil-Marin-
    -Klose-

And Lahm finally missing one game, he played all this year.

No way Lahm will miss the match. He said today that the 3rd place match is important for every participant to end the tourney with a positive emotion. Also that he won't retire freely from captain's status. No way he'll miss the match.

All that's left now is a BIG FINISH.

I don't care if it's even for 3rd place. Better than 4th right?

We NEED Klose to bash in 1 or 2 goals. AND Mueller needs to net in at least 2 so we can nab the awards.

    Golden Boot, Best Youngest Player

Honestly I would pick Schweinsteiger as best player of tournament but that award always goes to the Finals teams.

    What's THIS all about?????!!!!!!

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/world-...av-klose-miss-third-place-game?cc=5901&ver=us

ERASMIA, South Africa -- Germany striker Miroslav Klose could miss the third-place match against Uruguay because of injury, and with it lose a chance to take over as top scorer in World Cup history.

Assistant coach Hansi Flick says Klose has a back injury and could miss Saturday's game in Port Elizabeth.

Klose needs one goal to match Ronaldo's record of 15 for Brazil.

After Germany's 1-0 loss to Spain in Wednesday's semifinal, Klose said he was eager to play and mentioned no injury.

Flick says midfielders Sami Khedira and Mesut Oezil also have some problems, but declined to give details.

I want this match to be taken very seriously. Time for us to go out with style and class, not show that we are arrogant and only content with a final place. However we finish this tournament now is significant in how we continue our development from here on.
