    Exactly.

The "great" recent results, apart from the draw at Chelsea, were against poor teams.

Piss and moan all you want about how bad El Neny or Ozil were or how OG made our attack worse, the real reason we lost is lack of leadership. Not enough heart on the field. No one wants to step up and get everyone to give a fxk. It's why Ozil plays like he's already gone or why no one pushes forward to get the lead back. It's why everyone says we lack that killer instinct and complains about how fragile we are.

Complaining about individual players at this point is pointing out deck chair colors while the ship is sinking.

I suspected Arsenal would lose this game when I saw the starting lineup which was weak,

    And there we go.

The "run" that the team was on included west brom and brighton.

Nothing has changed. This is a poor team especially without Alexis

    Not just the midfield.

    Iwobi shouldn't start.
    Welbeck shouldn't start.
We can only rely on Giroud (who is fairly average) being a super sub for so long. Also shouldn't start.
Laca is not going to be the consistent goal scorer some believe/hope. Overpaid a bit for him, imo.
    Walcott shouldn't start.

    Who else?

The lack of fight back was horrific. Only one side looks like it wanted to win the game at the end. And was winning every ball. The other team couldn’t even get it out or clear it.

What leadership did we ever have? These players are mentally weak and always have been (bar maybe 1-3 of them), as cliche as some may think. The whole ship needs to sink and a new one needs to be built.

Only someone who is truly arrogant and has no accountability to anybody starts a line up like that.

The lack of "leadership" is wenger - not the players

the players don't know what they are supposed to be doing

It was obvious when Wenger start raving on in his presser about Wilshere - a player who has failed and should have been sold.

Now he and Ramsey are the new dawn.

The starting 11 wasn't great and neither was the desire, but Ozil and Bellerin had goal scoring opportunities that as professional footballers they MUST score.

The problem with a Wilshire Ramsey midfield is the utter lack of coaching and poor tactics. Everybody bombs forward by design.

With good coaching and tactics and discipline, it might even work. Because both players actually have skills and are very tenacious. Will sure play the deep MF role for England. I remember when Ramsey was among the league leaders in tackles and defensive interceptions.

But the hallmark of this team is very poor coaching, criminal level tactics and a laissie faire attitude towards actually matching the opponents and their specific tendencies.

Who can forget our famed defensive midfielder, Mr. Song, who we somehow sold to Barcelona after he decided he was going to plow forward and deliver Hollywood balls.

The best thing that can happen is Alexis and Ozil leave in January (so at least some ££ comes in), the team loses lots of games and Wenger gets sacked.

Otherwise this goes on for another 18 months

Here is a good shot of the laughable work by the CMs on defence

Why is he not marking his man?

    But Ozil!

Ozil has been my favorite player since Henry. But I think his time here is done. Sad, because I think he could have been even better.

The spot the goal is kicked from is the exact spot Monreal vacates to cover goal. The Exact Spot. Not saying he did anything wrong, but it's just how it works out sometimes.

Arsenal are in the David Moyes situation

Moyes also wrecked Utd's squad for years to come with his poor talent attraction and stupid decisions.

Alexis and Ozil are gone. Wilshere and Ramsey are ruined.

They need Wenger to be sacked as fast as possible before more crap happens.

    Monreal reacts correctly.

Xhaka should drop in that situation to pick up cleverly.

    Its basics.

So we can have another window with net profit
Best case scenario... we get cash.. finish 8th..buy lemar in summer ... and only him (because he cost 80 mil) ... struggle for 4
    Rinse and repeat
