  3. Zoet is in a rough sea at the moment.

  6. Man
In the match Bizot could equal the 50 year old record of Stuy he managed to get red carded within 5 minutes and thus undo all the work of getting Ajax on even marks.

He technically kept a clean sheet as he was not in front of the goal... no? :p:D

Just saw a note that Zoet is loaned to Utrecht for the rest of the season. Wow!! PSV #1 and possibly Dutch #2 is sinking fast.

  10. Mwah, he chose to go to Utrecht (they needed a first keeper after their nr 1 got injured) because he wants to play to stay in the picture for the Orange team. At PSV he was put second behind the German goalie and possibly not getting minutes in the run up to the EC2020.
I think a smart choice of him.

  11. Vermeer is on his way to mls, as Feyenoord seems to be prepared to let him go.

It appears Cillessen has lost this starting job to Domenech

I am not a fan of Cillessen, but if he did indeed lose his job, that would be a dent for Oranje, as Koeman doesn't have that many qualified options for GK... especially with Zoet and Vermeer made interesting moves this winter transfer window.

Bizot would easily be my next choice, an athletic GK with excellent record keeping clean sheets this season. Prime age (maturity), though a big concern around his experience, or lack thereof, in the international stage. Krul wouldn't be a terrible choice, either... he and Norwich are in the relegation fight, so presumably he would be focused and battle-tested :x3:

Cillessen was a reserve at Barca and he was still Koeman no.1. I believe the same scenario would happen even if he loses his starting job at Valencia - which is very sad and unfortunate, because that means he would go to Euro not as sharp as he should be. Bizot would have to really, really impress (and perhaps helped by AZ winning the league) to get a consideration to displace Jasper.

Bizarre story on Padt, I didn't hear that before :speechless:

Goalkeeper is another unsettled position with Cillessen being dropped at Valencia.
He’s very average at best and was simply awful during Euro 16 Qualifying.

  21. Justin Bijlow every match since coming back improved on the matter of commanding the whole box. In the last match if he should be somewhere in the box, he was there making interceptions that were necesary.
Koeman will be at the AZ - Feyenoord match to have a good look on both Bizot and Bijlow and also on the strike force Boadu, Stengs and Berghuis. Forgot about Wijndal and Malacia, who is making strides of late. Pity Karsdorp isnot yet to be looked at by him.

What about toornstra. A very underrated player.

I cant see both stengs and berghuis together in the euro squad. Also berghuis seems to have quiten down.
