63' 1-0 GU crosses from the right to ~10m right post, #7 Carolan spins past Minniss falling down, rounds her alone to ~5m 6-right. Thompson charges, Carolan shoots around her to goalline center -- volleyed off line by RB #7 Hernandez-Repreza. We teach that because we need it :D

63' 1-0 Haro left ck(?), to 7m 3-right. Minniss elevates over everybody, heads just wide right into side netting high.

67' 1-0 Carusa passes through box top right for Farrell cutting behind Haro(?). Farrell shoots just wide right low, Thompson dives but pulls hands back and lets it go.

~68' 1-0 WSU cross from wide left to ~9m center, Weaver(?) jumping twist-header toward right post low, bounces just wide right.

~69' 1-0 Weaver touches near 6-top left, Livingstone clears over endline left
69' 1-0 Hernandez-Repreza left ck, to 4m center, Schechtman catches high.

70' 1-0 #16 Nizialek left ck, bad zoom mode of everybody in goalmouth watching things happen off-screen to the left. Cross to 1m 2/5 right, Livingstone chips rising, touched or blocked over bar.

~71' 1-0 Nizialek left ck (bad zoom again), out over endline before it reached the goal?

73' 1-0 Gomera-Stevens runs to ~arc top 6-left, taps down mid-left for Weaver chasing -- too far over endline, and offside.

~75' 1-0 Carusa spins past 2 at the right corner flag, but loses it over endline right.

77' 1-0 Hancock clears upfield, stabbed out of the air by #10 Germino-Watnick. She plays a back-and-forth with Carusa, continues to ~arc top right post, shoots left foot toward 1/5 right low, Thompson saves.

~79' 1-0 Carolan cuts inside to ~11m 6-left, shoots right instep high over Thompson's fingertips, off crossbar center, bounces away through box top right. GU collects and drives toward box right foot, WSU pokes over endline right.

~80 1-0 GU right ck, bent high way behind goal.

    ~83' 1-0 WSU left throw-in at ~arc top, heaved to ~14m mid-left, headed away.

~84' 1-0 GU rolls a pass up right touch for #18 Farrell, to 10m. Farrell cuts inside in front of Minniss caught slightly deeper, to ~9m mid-right, shoots left foot toward left post low. Thompson dive-blocks at 5m center, ball skitters away, Pulver(?) kicks clear into near touch.

~85' 1-0 GU keeps ball in deep box left, #8 Armstrong breaks up two attacks but WSU can't clear. GU goes to left corner flag, shakes off tight coverage by the camera.

86' 1-0 Stoppage, MF #2 Trissell is on all 4s at arc top wide left. She pops up and wants to continue -- but GU subs her out.

87' 1-0 Carusa fouls Minniss. Minniss resumes gingerly, holding left knee.

~87' 1-0 Nally wins ball at own box top right, hoofs long upfield. Camera pans not; Thompson comes out above arc top mid-(her) left and clears upfield?

~88 1-0 #21 Goff shanks a pass into GU's chest, GU dumps down wide left. WSU muff a GK clearance, GU press and gum up possession. Carolan(?) goes to right corner flag, Minniss steals and dribbles to box top (our) left -- then a late foul called at 5m right touch.

~89' 1-0 Carusa right fk, very short to right flag. WSU poke ball out. GU right throw-in, taken very short. Hancock banks ball off Carusa's shins and out.

~90' 1-0 WSU left throw-in, heaved upfield, Nally volleys it back to midfield.

FT 1-0. That one early goal stood up. It's a fitting soccer result; we did the same thing ourselves at Central Florida last year.

Georgetown did look like the better offensive team throughout, more composed and decisive in their attacks and way more aggressive in sending numbers forward. OTOH, we actually did stop all of that. Our chances were more of the half-chance flick variety, as we couldn't consistently win two races at once, and almost never sent three into their box in the run of play. We were a tad tentative in midfield all day, making reaction-flick passes through their close press instead of bossing and pressing them. This could be why (and how) they haven't lost all year.

    Georgetown 13(6)-(4)5 shots(sog), 7-10 corners, 8-15 fouls, 0-2 offsides.
They did more with 1 corner than we did with 10. Maybe we should run that play ourselves next year, to befuddle teams who "know" to cover our far-post runs.
