I just don't get why she would be listed as a sub for every game and they wouldn't at least list her on the injury report as probable or something.
I was wondering the same thing myself and will ask when I get the chance. Unfortunately, that might not be for a while since the next home game isn't until mid-May.
Dydasco finally saw some time tonight, so I guess she's no longer injured. Bit harsh for your first professional cap to come in the 88th minute against Seattle, though. Can't expect much positive to happen in the short time.
Well, Corsie is a bit of a different situation... She's an established pro, stuck behind one of the best CB pairings in the NWSL. It's gonna be hard for her to get time unless one gets injured or the Reign blow out more games like their first one.
Too bad. I was hoping to see Argentina's female Messi tomorrow. Her's hoping for a full recovery soon.
Nice FIFA feature on Krieger and Ordega: http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/...dian-reunion-for-club-team-mates-2650298.html
I heard the Spirit signed Haley Rasso of Australia. This girl is young(20 years old) and a fast winger(not Devanna fast, but fast enough). She also got a certain flair about her; she always wears a ribbon around hair to co ordinate the color of her uniform
I could probably count on one hand the number of players in the world who can match De Vanna's speed. A front 3 of Ordega, Dunn, and Raso could potentially be the fastest front line in the league. The only other front line that would come close is WNY.
Spirit waive defender Alex Singer I can understand why with the new defenders coming in, but it's still a shock - she's been part of the DC WoSo scene for most of the time since 2007.
here's some video highlights of the newly signed Haley Raso, remember, she's the girl with the ribbon in her hair
Tori Huster started at her third position of the season, for the Spirit last night against the Dashers. She scored the most athletic goal of the season IMO. The AR was so mesmerized by what he just saw or didn't see that he couldn't make up his mind if it was a goal or not and finally called it off! See for yourself! Slide the time to 116:50 The ball clearly slams into the goal and hits the crossbar on the ground and comes out! The final score should have read: Spirit 2 Dash 0 Goals: Huster, Dunn
She's backkkkkkkk 🙌Terrific first day of training for Diana Matheson in advance of our weekend clash with the Reign pic.twitter.com/YSX7Ihy75N— Washington Spirit (@WashSpirit) July 14, 2015
I asked the sales manager at the last home game, and even he didn't know. They're really missing out if they don't have them available by the Seattle match - and sooner would be better.
Why? What's the evidence they'll be missing out? The most successful franchise, in terms of season tickets, doesn't have them on sale until much later, after the season is over.
