Any one found a VPN service that works around the MLS Live Local blackouts?

    A UK one should work.

There is no local blackout for the game today if that's why you're asking.

Not for today. But too many of MLS Live are blacked out. I've tried several services that doesn't work with that stream.

have you tried private Internet access? it's not too spendy.. I pay for it for other reasons but I could see it handling video streams and it has multiple USA tunnels.

Thanks. Did you mean pricy or speedy?

its not free.. I'll have to check on speed. it's got some speed tests for every VPN tunnel.

I use stealthy.co. $5 per month and it works like a dream.

    It has 2 modes:

PRO-USA: Gives you an IP in any random city... I use this for MLS Live
PRO-UK: Gives you an IP in any random UK city... I use this for ITV/BBC

Also, if you are technical enough, you can pull the streams out and get around blackouts -- even the national blackouts. I watched Porland-Seattle yesterday through MLS Live, even though it was an ESPN2 game... this requires digging into the code and an exploit which I don't want to post here... PM me.

Upside of this method is you don't need a proxy... doing it this way works around the IP check.

I used the private Internet access to stream a game to get around a blackout in full HD. it was good.

"Private Internet access" and "Witopia" have worked for me in the past

If you are at home I guess you could do some config on your router... otherwise no, not really.
