Obviously there's Loney's front page post https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/thoughts-on-the-2017-national-soccer-hall-of-fame-ballot.2054738/ And there's Kenn's as well https://www.kenn.com/the_blog/?p=7929 I really enjoy reading these, even though I don't line up 100%. It's just nice having some transparency for something that has so little of it. Does anyone else know of any public posts where voters say why players are/aren't on their ballots?
That was last year's, on mine. I have one in drafts I've been working on. Ballots were in two weeks ago, but I have not gotten around to finishing the post yet. I think if you're a voter, you owe the fans transparency. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, or with anyone or everyone. This is why you have an electorate of more than 100 people and not like three people. And if someone lays out their position and makes their point (even if it's not a point of view you share), then, fine.
Yeah agreed. Even if I don't agree, it's really refreshing hearing another take and the reasoning behind votes.
