Plays exactly how I expected. Bright spots leading to the assist, decent passing but some questionable decision making. There's enough positive to more than justify increased playing time.
Looks like he’s just got out of bed and we’ve had to wake him up. It’s been the same story with him for a while now.
Gareth Bale proving his haters wrong once again. Great player. His haters will be crying in the corner of a room tonight
Isco was horrible. Bale looked dangerous. Vinicius needs more playing time, he is raw, but one can sense something about to happen whenever he is on the ball. How come no one knew about Reguillon, he is good both going forward as well as at the back. Keep Solari please .
One thing is certain. Marcelo is not a LB anymore. Keep the kid at LB and play Marcelo as a wide player further up. That’s where Marcelo is more dangerous now. He can’t defend and he’s not got the legs to run back anymore.
Liked Reguillon and Odriozola. Ceballos is still kinda meh to me. I really don't mind Keylor being benched. Courtois was very cheap, still young, actually a great deal by us, he must play all important competitions IMO.

Unfortunately, Zidane like James as much as Cristiano Ronaldo likes being fat, so our hand was kind of forced there.
This was a great win for us, one that we really needed; it should boost morale greatly and restore the team’s faith in ability to go out and getting a win. Respect to Plzen for coming out to play and their fans for cheering them on until the end. Defensively we still got some work to do but it was good to see hustle back, players actually looked like they gave a damn when we lost the ball; It looks we are transitioning nicely from the way JL set us up to something in between that style and Zizou’s, one thing I noticed we weren’t doing a lot was pressing aggressively. It’s the one thing I loved the most when we played under JL before our collapse, we counter pressed well in order to limit just how much look our opponents get at our goal so I hope we stick to that philosophy.
