hopefully that will also behave on this rig. The last time I paid full freight for a game was probably NWN in what, 2002? So that was the last time I needed a contemporary rig. Now I buy my games and hardware on steep, end-of-life discount or not at all. I'm really excited about this latest new game - Fallout 3 on the XBOX 360 I just bought.
I liked Andromeda. It's not like I thought it was amazing, but I enjoyed myself when playing it. Disappointed that it got so much backlash they decided to end it.
YES! THIS! It has the aesthetic I like and I love it when you can take multiple approaches to a plan and avoid combat.
Mass Effect 3 also got enormous amounts of backlash (not going to say why here for spoiler reasons) but it's miles ahead of Andromeda. Andromeda was made by a completely different studio than the original Bioware and it shows.
I did too, never understood the backlash. Though I'd recommend if @lethargytartare plays through the trilogy make sure to download the Leviathan DLC to go along with ME3.

Finished the first Witcher 3 expansion, on to the second Blood And Wine. Supposed to be even better than the main game.
Not really a video game per se, but we were at the Salvador Dali Musuem and they have a new Dali virtual reality exhibit. You sit in a revolving chair with oculus glasses abd head phones and enter into VR example of a Dali painting. An entertaining few minutes.
The future of VR isn't in video games, it's in stuff like this. VR games have always looked real gimmicky to me, but the places I've seen it used best involve education.
I'm playing Justice League Heroes on my old ps2. About 45% done. Very linear levels, which is just fine because I have 2 small kids that require a lot of attention. My kids are very familiar with the DC heroes so they like to watch me play and get a kick out of the cutscenes. My little girl asked, "Why are Wonder Woman's boobies so big?"
Honestly, I think I just said "uh..." and waited for her to ask something else. My little girl loves the DC Super Hero Girls and has all the dolls except for Cheetah and Hawkgirl, which she has since added to my Amazon cart. I'm lucky that I had turned on the parental control earlier in the year after she ordered herself a Kindle app.
