Nothing like reading a good Nayib piece to cleanse the palette after reading some Jonny Rico nonsense. That guy is something else.

Tom is one if not the best English based journalist regarding El Tri

He knows more about the history and players of Mexico than 90% of the posters here.

    Show some damn respect.

Tom Marshall has never struck me as a hater. Obviously he writes about US soccer to capture a bigger audience. He already speaks English, why not aprovech? More people to follow his work.

He knows a lot about the current game for sure. History not so much since he just started covering the league about 10 years or so. But he knows the last 5 years better than anyone I know.

Does Tom root for el tri? I saw one of your podcasts and o think one of you asked him that question and he kinda shrugged it off. Who is his team in England?

RDLmVCP has a whole library on Mexican footy with hard to find books. My knowledge of the game has been distorted by nostalgia. I would say my specialty has been on the culture of the sport in Mexico and the United States.
