Spuds in complete shambles at Brighton. Three points is a must for us on Sunday, or we're really no better than they are.

Seriously, what's happening there? I don't watch them enough to really dx it. But I have watched these last two matches and they've looked awful.

    Yikes.

Spuds are the only English team in any division that hasn't won away from home in 2019

One man's take, defensively they're a mess and it's hurting their ability to apply any pressure that would help sustain the aggressive attack they had last year. Moments of individual brilliance remain, especially from Son IMO, but as a unit they look lost. Brighton was all over them.

    Yay!

Is Levy really that much of a pain to deal with that ManU haven't thrown money at Spurs for Son?

One of their issues is that Kane isn’t playing like himself anymore. Too many injuries and too many overly fast returns from injuries.

Spurs got close to the sun last year and couldn’t win it.

They also needed to revamp the team.

I've given up trying to figure out why certain players are or aren't valued by others. Kane may be a (fading) generational talent but for my money S***s would be near toothless without Son and Ericksen.

I think it’s been true of Kane in particular. Sterling being on such a deep City side prevents that. Dele has suffered from the same Spurs issue, however. I wonder if he and Erikson go the way of some of Simeone’s midfielders after 28 or so; cooked. Which would be too bad for Erikson, really good player.

This; I thought, new stadium, team went to the CL final, signed new players, they would push on to at least make a three team race out of it.

The Newcastle result sort of broke them actually. As opposed to Liverpool, who when Newcastle took the lead, stepped it up a notch and took over.

Pulisic on the bench again. Could be better, could be worse.

But NBC reported that Lampard told him he just needs to work hard. Unless they took that quote out of context, I'm slightly surprised.

Sure you can debate Christian's quality, but I've never heard in the past that he's not a hard worker. To be fair, NBC also said that his captain says he's working hard.

We shall see, but obviously it'll be key for him to take his next chance when he gets it.

Didn't watch their game obviously but noticed that Pulisic got a cameo for the last 10 mins when they were 3-1 up. And looks like he assisted thier 4th goal so... jury's still out I guess.

It’s been frustrating because Pulisic has been fine when he’s played. Today would’ve been a good game for him to start considering how much Willian has played.

Least Ross Barkley hasn’t been seeing much of the pitch lately.

Pulisic is getting screwed - a victim of circumstance. He was bought in January under a former manager who was fired Before Pulisic ever took the pitch, then the new manager is told to play their Academy players in a youth movement. The youth, especially Mount, have taken their chances and haven’t given any reasons to be benched for Pulisic

Watching Montreal v NYRB in final game of reg season. And there's Bacary Sagna earning his team a dangerous free kick. At age 36 I wonder if he retires after today.

And in a similar vein I just saw Carlos Vela break the MLS record for goals in a season.

With a bike kick for a brace.

For a 2018 expansion team that ran away with the 2019 Supporters Shield.

His move to MLS has been a tad more successful than Bac's.
