Welp, no matter what it seems that Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool might be the winners of this tie. What are those two going to have left for the weekend fixture?

Edit: The Curse of Qatar strikes again~!

    FT: MCFC 1-0 S***s

Both sides had quality opportunities for 2-3 more, with both keepers making some fine saves. De Bruyne left in 1st half injured.

Arsenal now control their own fate for 3rd place.

There's a very realistic scenario that United can finish 4th...but be dropped back into the EL because S***s win the CL (spits in disgust) and Chelsea win the EL.

    That would be...crazy.

And as I wrote that, United are 4-0 down to Everton.

Holy crap, I thought Arsenal's performance against Everton was bad; this makes that 0-1 scoreline respectable!

Everton have only conceded to ManC at home vs the top 6. I don't know why people thought it would be a straight forward win.

Keep hearing how United fans would rather let City win the title than Liverpool.

New question: What's more important, Liverpool winning the title or qualifying for the CL next season?

They aren't going to qualify for the Champions League anyway.

Chelsea with a home draw against Burnley.

The "Hold My Beer" series of failures rolls on.

Wow. We REALLY REALLY missed a golden chance yesterday, with 3 of our 3 direct rivals dropping points.

On the bright side, we're only off 4th place by 1 point, and with a game in hand against Chelsea.

But boy do we have to turn our away form around in the next 2 matches.

Had we actually taken care of business with Everton & CP we would be 5pts clear in 3rd.
