No, but they're doing their best to sacrifice Trippier, by ignoring the so-called concussion protocol. Tottenham's state of the art hardware doesn't mean they'll provide state of the art health care to their players.
Nah Liverpool were shit tactically and it showed. Raheem has grown leaps and bounds since leaving. But realistically he had just turned 20?
In other ManCity news, didn't realize KDB was back from his latest injury. He finishes nicely just 6 mins in to put City up over Cardiff.
Yeah he's been back for a little while now. But supposedly they lost Aquero this week. You win some, you lose some.
Only keeping a peripheral eye on the Spurs-Palace match, but I can say that Spurs has dominated possession & chances. YET the scoreline is still 0-0 at HT. Now they get to attack their great big new supporters stand... not quite as big as Dortmund's but damn big!
Look at who he was playing with though... at times as a number 9 and at RWB, no less. He's always been amazing in terms of his skillset, maybe somewhat technically inconsistent as a teenager? Sure. But, for me, for my (somewhat of a layman) eye test, rarely has there been a surer bet for a young player to come good than with the case of Raheem. Perhaps this is only because I don't often get afforded such a close look as a teenage sensation emerges.
Having moderated an architecture board that includes a looong thread about the new S***s digs I can say it is very impressive on the inside. I'm no fan of the exterior and roof but as far as a seating bowl it's as close as can be to what I'd desire if building new. Whether or not you need a kop end or not I appreciate having one end dedicated to the die-hards who'll generate the most atmosphere. Having the stands close to the pitch and steep makes for great viewing angles. Have to give credit where due and Levy came up aces in this regard. Imagine their fans are happy not to have ended up at London Stadium.
Looks like a toilet bowl but works more like a bidet https://t.co/X7u83vPXEa— GiantCalGunner (@GiantCalGunner) April 3, 2019
Matt Scott has done an interesting blog about Spurs financial situation I still suspect someone like Kane will be sold to clean out some short term debt Spurs' stadium is open for business. But what does this mean for their future and those of the other clubs in the so-called "Big Six"?https://t.co/Fh8AnvrEZw#THFC #AFC #CFC #LFC #MCFC #MUFC pic.twitter.com/OdSBxqbweW— Football DNA (@ftballDNA) April 4, 2019
Well done to Liverpool for coming back from 0-1, then after a long long time of stalemate at 1-1, finally breaking through in the last 10-15 mins. I seem to be one of the rare Gooners who'd rather see Klopp/Pool win the league instead of Pep/Citeh. Also, well done to Salah for finally getting a goal, and a really good solo one at that... classic blitzkrieg counter and footwork which is just too fast to defend.
Why stats and analytics are good: It's in a module of the course, but a scenario where your entire team is up for a set piece and you shoot from range and it gets blocked almost on impact thus leading to a counter is IMHO the worst shot choice in the book, and that's why.— James Yorke (@jair1970) April 5, 2019
Thank you. It was a quite nice goal... that said LFC were really shaky in moments. Whether they build on this and win out or whether it just lead to more shaky play and more nailbiting matches... I guess we'll see. I thought SHampton played pretty damn well overall. Chelsea next weekend is going to be incredible... and If they ******** up AGAIN against Chelsea AT ANFIELD, I just may lose my mind.
