If you can buy a player who has been starting for a club like Dortmund since he was 18 for peanuts, sure that’d be better. Where are all these can’t miss low transfer fee prospects?
Nowhere near the amount we paid for Pulisic. Lol, you have to be frikking blind to think Pulisic is a “decent enough player by US standards” given that he’s the best US player at 20. And I’m not even really a USMNT fan. You’re confusing him with Theo Walcott.
I have seen very little of him but he looks like he is a creative winger with little goal scoring to his game? Chelsea surely will be looking for a quality striker this summer (and a hazard replacement lol) so he might not have to Sadly, this is football. He is probably already a top 5 USA player ever judging by the standards set previously

er … Janssen came from AZ, and admittedly it would've been nice had he been better. but I was thinking more along the lines of Eriksen, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Alli, etc. … the total transfer fees of which were less than what you've paid for Pulisic, with enough left over to buy Pulisic for what he's actually worth.
Depends on how you define can't miss. If your standard is Eden Hazard, those guys haven't gone for less than twenty million for a decade.
Pook is right, u can’t say anything negative about Chelsea to nice He got mad when I said they were a nothing club and still would be were it not for a Russian gangster investing hundreds of millions
ManU now even with Arsenal on points. Regrettably they've rediscovered their form under Ole. The bright side from this is S***s lost. Kane hobbled off with a possible quad injury.
Was going to make a similar comment. De Gea is one of the few players worth whatever insane amount he is paid. I won't bother tracking exact stats, but he alone probably "wins" 12-15 points for his team every season.
I had to be on a phone call during the second half but from the corner of my eye it looked like DDG was having a Worldie. Earlier I thought the worst results for us was a United win. A draw would have been preferable. But now with United on an amazing roll, about to blow by us in the standings, and with Kane picking up some mysterious injury, probably I will adjust my sights on Spurs. And hope that they go on a slide which enables us to catch them. All I know though is that we are in a much trickier predicament than we were a week or so ago.
I wasn’t watching closely, but they seemed to be able to get into good positions at will. Probably should’ve won that match. But De Gea is awesome.
