Can someone bring me up to speed. What happened with sterling at chavs? All I see is racism stuff but no one actually says what happened.
The mouth breathing scum Chelsea fans were betraying him and one of them said some racist shit Which isn’t surprising from their simple brain fan base I would guess 99% of Chelsea fans are Brexiteers The sort of racists who hate blacks and Asians but worship drogba and go for a curry after beating up Asian people
A black man was spending his own money incorrectly so Piers Morgan was forced to white-splain the situation
If you want to understand racism in football, look no further than Le Grove who started a conspiracy theory that Ozil's chronic back problems are caused by playing Fortnite too much. This idea without one shred of actual evidence was posted all over his twitter feed and blog before being picked up by Bild This is so fucking dumb. They took a conspiracy theory and asked a professor if it was theoretically possible. He said it was theoretically possible. They then reported it as news. This is why society’s fucked. Nobody knows how to challenge shit anymore. https://t.co/E2YD35CHtH— JB™️ (@gunnerpunner) December 9, 2018
Iirc, they used his online win record as a basis along with win percentage to conclude he has logged hundreds of hours playing the game. I looked and he is very good and has played A LOT! Personally, I think it’s BS to suggest that it’s affecting his back or playing. I’ve logged many hours playing games and still get my job done, workout and deal with my bad back. But it’s also not an entirely baseless claim. There are many people who are addicted to the point of self destruction over this and similar games. Divorce filings are starting to surface noting fortnite specifically. One article noted an online divorce legal service in U.K. suggesting 5% of their cases have fortnite specifically as a cause. Footballers have a lot of down time where they are just resting. They practice and work out in the morning, get treatment and then have the rest of the day to recover. Recovery rules out any physical hobbies, so video games fills this void.
I mean there is not one shred of evidence his back issues are related to Fortnite That is simply wild speculation I agree footballers play a lot of video games. I heard the same stories from a friend who new Wiltord back in the day. He didn't drink or go out. He stayed home and played video games. As we all know, seemingly every footballer was in to the Fornite craze
A friend from college played two years of basketball in Spain after he graduated. I asked him what his typical day was like during the season. He told me it was just like a day during the season in college (division III for reference) but without class and homework. Lots of hanging around, reading, and playing video games. Kinda boring he said.
[Kathy Bates voice] "Fornite is da Debil!!!" I have no doubt the stories linking it to Ozil's injury are crap. But man......I'll be glad when this craze runs its course. My son and his buddies are reeeeally into it.
Sigh. I remember when Wenger had this too. Watching Klopp be interviewed. I can recall when Maurinho had a touch of this about him. Mischievous, clever, confident, reckless and undoubtedly in love with the game. Never grow up Herr Klopp, it's a draining, devastating thing.#LIVNAP— Danny Baker (@prodnose) December 11, 2018
We did a CL presser with Jose in his first Chelsea tilt and he was like that Joking with the journalists - playing tricks Everyone loved him.
Ps fortnite is shit, my step son keeps making me play with him in some kind of safe mode but I end up killing him and stealing his loot It’s ruined our relationship
What's the big deal with it? Doesn't seem much more than a counterstrike clone from nearly 20 years ago
Not that much like counter strike. It’s more like a counterstrike/ultima online hybrid—with collecting (mining materials, treasure hunting) and ranking up along with the shooter aspect. In my limited experience, it’s more about thre building and collecting superior weapons than the actual skill with shooting. Its ability to melt hours is pretty much unprecedented.
I only play FIFA. That's all. Never had the reflexes for shoot-em-up games. The last one I was semicompetent at was Contra, and that's because I cheated.
