Most likely, placing second in this group will yield a less dangerous leg in round of 16s/quarters, and right now the only thing separating Belgium and England is "fair play" points, i.e. with fewer reds/yellows England is currently top. We could see an England/Belgium match where getting booked is incentivized...
England praise is so misplaced...giving Kane a knighthood for two pens, two tap-ins and a goal he had no part in whatsoever. They haven’t played brilliantly and if their fans can’t see that they are setting themselves up for huge dissapointment just like very other major tournament.
England also look good and very capable from set pieces. There will be no living with them if they win this.
Na. Not a huge fan of USMNT and they didn’t deserve to be in this tourney. Was just saying that the standouts for me have been stones and McGuire both offensively and defensively. You know why I'm mad that the US didn't qualify? Because they think they're f**king Holland in 1978 when they're not even Cameroon in 1990. They think of themselves too highly and then, when a team like Iran beat them it's like it doesn't register.
