Cheers man. I like the board. I don't mind being called a Chav and discussing other teams including my own. I just felt bad because my threads essentially crossed and it became a Craig Pawson is a spineless ******** who can't call a match for the life of him rant (which he can't [emoji1] ). Felt the need to delete the posts!

So Kane scissor tackles a guy and almost snaps his leg = yellow. Shelvey steps on a guys foot = red. Ok, got it

Not sure how Chavregas becomes crack, but the second yellow was wrong. Should have gotten a second yellow about 20 minutes earlier though.

They should both have been red. The shelvey decision was clear. It was a dead ball and he intentionally stamped on a guy's ankle. That will always be red.

Kane's tackle should have been red too, but it wasn't as clear cut.

Agree they both should have been red it's just amazing what reputation will get you. Funny enough, the half time guys said "if that was Shelvey tackling Kane like that it would be a sure red"....

dude, xhaka's first red last year would have been waived off if it was by players from certain teams. the bullshittery has always been real.

we call you names with, uhh, love. or something. :D but people like you and pook bring interesting discussions - with thoughts - and i'd take that in a heartbeat. regardless of whether we agree or not.

hell, we do plenty of our own bitching about shit refereeing. share the misery, man. share the misery.

Studs up, from behind, caught opponents ankle, certainly a yellow, possibly a straight red.

Conte didn't want to sell him and has literally said the same on more than two occasions. He hated that the club authorized it.

Matic hasn't been all that good outside of the first half season. He's been good, sometimes really good for stretches, but he's way too inconsistent and just doesn't offer enough to how we play. We may well regret selling him, but we've seen one match. Let's give it a while before we write off Chelsea and call Matic the great reviver of Paul Pogba.

Agreed. Except Kane's was clear red for me: from behind, scissors, reckless, dangerous. Not to mention that he injured the guy. Kane and Poch were lucky boys with that call!

Yup I watched it. Kaka grabbed Collins face/eyes from behind. At the time i thought "is he trying to test the refs?" Sure enough they applied the letter of the law and he wAs gone.

And the refs use of Video Review in that case was a poster child for how it killed the game for way too long. But things had really devolved by that time between rival players... and this just seemed to make things worse.

And this comes from someone who's a BIG proponent of VAR.

These refs didn't do a good job. There's room for much improvement in the use of video in-game.

Didn't I hear right on the Football Daily YT page that Chelsea are around £1 Billion in debt? If I were Chelsea fans, I wouldn't be poking at the hornet's nest too much.

If that's the case it's the first I've heard of it.
