New York is overrated Plus philly is a better franchise and only a couple of hours away if u want to visit a generic tourist trap Your owner is a clown and phil Jackson has lost his mind Porz wants out and the Carmelo issue is cancerous 76ers are on the up and will be better than the knicks next year easily
All true biggie... but with sixers being better than the knicks - that's not a big honor....there will be 27 teams better than the knicks next year... on a side note...very curious to see Simmons play next season..
Yeah, you say that because you live in Birmingham and hope to convince people that "London is overrated - and it's only a few hours away from Birmingham if you want to visit a generic tourist trap" Also, I've been to Philly. I never want to go back.
There would probably be approximately 24 teams better than the Knicks and Nets combined, which is an amazing statement.
I like Philly - it's a pretty neat city, as long as you stay away from the scary parts. Saad's, just west of U Penn, is a phenomenal restaurant. A shame they don't take credit cards.
So you're recommending a restaurant just west of a place where you'll get robbed of all that cash you need to pay for it? Philly is a clever place, just not a nice place. Also, definitely not neat. Anyway, Philly's great for a weekend, but I would never want to live there. Nor do I know a lot of people who move to Philly and then come up to NYC - it's like moving to Jersey
Never felt nervous around UPenn, and I went to Saad's a couple of times a week for over a year. Gets a little scary once you get west of 50th. You've just described how I feel about NYC.
While I'm mostly joking about Philly, everyone I know who spent more than a year at school there did get robbed. It's also clearly not New York. I am serious about not wanting to live there though - though I wouldn't want to live in most places in the US, to be fair
I lived in Philly for 4 years and knew 2 people that got robbed, both of which was after they moved. It's a really different place than it was in the 90s.
I have a lot of love for philly It kinda is like Birmingham for me. Ghetto in parts but some real character and the people are friendly I now live in Derby though. A lot of you Americans come over to see the country side here, dovedale etc
I know people who got robbed two years ago. We all have our anecdotes. I visited Penn for an event in undergrad, and it ceased to be on my list of law school choices shortly thereafter Most Americans are friendly! That doesn't mean much. I try to even things out tho.
Both Red Bull teams have been given the all clear for the Champions League after "structural changes".
White people don't experience it, so white people, by and large, think it is a problem created by how black people react to police. "Well, I never have any issues with the police." Being white and middle class is basically at least one get out of jail free card for acting like an ass with the police involved. /white guy that lives in WV
