Thought this would be a thread some people might be interested in. Today VfB II fell 2-0 to Wuerzburger, and they now sit second from bottom with 3 points from 5 matches. Jan Kliment played for the zweien in this one. I know injuries at the big club are taking a toll on VfB II a little bit. Once Langerak returns Vlachodimos will probably come back, and Gruezo might get some action down there when Die comes back. I don't know how many great prospects there are at that level at the moment. The American Kiesewetter is highly rated, as are Ferati and Kirchhoff. Maybe it's just bad form and bad luck like VfB I.
First win in a while against Fortuna Koeln 3-0. 19th out of 20 in the table with 8 points from 11 matches. On the 18th VfB II plays against Kickers and I've gotta imagine Kickers will be heavy favorites.

I thought he showed well. Had good pace on the RW, and gave the Iceland defenders fits for the time he was in. Would have had an assist if Nagbe could have used his left foot, for the shot he missed, instead of his right.
