Um, no. Replace the blue stripes with white to give us back the iconic Waldo jerseys, then Nike would have my forgiveness for their recent atrocities. Otherwise--we are NOT Barcelona.
Agree about the Waldos. The Red and White hoops and the plain white ones with the old school badge we're my favorites in recent years. I don't mind the Barcelona looking stripes. Don't love it don't hate it. I hope the numbers and letters are white. Do I see stars going down the sleeves. That looks tacky.

So, are we officially off the Trapp hype train? Gets calls up but never makes it - how long before they just skip the call ups completely?
We need to find a classic, iconic jersey and stick with it. All the great teams have it. Brazil's yellow woth green trim. Germany's black shorts & white tops. Blue for the Azzuri. Argentina's blue & white stropes. Solid light blue for Uruguay. Les Blues for France. Orange for the Dutch. Spain's red top & blue shorts. Green for El Tri. We can still experiment with away jerseys & change kits. We need go to kits for our squad. Even teams like Costa Rica, Cameroon, & Ivory Coast are easily recognized.
His play hasn't warranted a call. It's impossible to watch Acosta or event Roldan and say that Trapp brings more to the table than them. Those two can cover so much ground, defend when necessary, and provide something going forward. Trapp is still in the mix. But he is currently being outplayed by other relatively young guys in that position. Maybe in the coming years he'll develop. After being called up a few times in his early 20s, Dax at 30 years old is on the verge of earning some minutes in competitive matches. I see Trapp in a similar position, and he'll have to improve drastically if he hopes to keep pace with Roldan, Acosta, and other young guys (Hyndman, Adams).
New kits are all about jersey sales. They don't even really care about how they look on the field as long as they look good with a pair of jeans. I don't really mind constantly changing kits. It's a fresh look. I'd get bored with a red jersey/white shorts/blue socks strip every World Cup.
Speaking of Germany the Newspaper BILD claims they have a copy of the Garcia report about the bids for the 2018/2022 World Cups.
Credit to him. Getting tournament experience into young or fringe players one year before they defend the WC. It could have back fired but that just isn't the German way.
He was so bad. He was a convenient call-up, but looked incredibly out of place. Much like he does with Columbus. He's a defensive midfielder who, despite decent pace, consistently fails to track back on defense. It's astonishing.
