I don't see Jerome Kiesewetter (Fortuna Dusseldorf) or Brad Davis (Kansas City). Kiesewetter played against Iceland and Canada in January. Davis was on the prelim roster for the 2015 Gold Cup, but made the 23-man roster (replaced by Garza).

You also state 15 fullbacks but I count 16 listed. For mid/amids you say 26, but I count 25

I had Jerome on this list back in March and Davis was on here in September of 2015... I must of mistakenly dropped them somehow.

Is Jordan Siebatcheu confirmed for US? See him on the prospect list for June. Isn't he the guy lighting it up for PSG and the son of a former French player?

He has a few goals and assists in the Ligue 1. I don't know if I'd call that lighting it up, and it's for Reims not PSG, but still it's impressive for a 20 year old.

What's happened to Kelyn Rowe? Was a skilled player in the handful of games I saw him. And a couple years ago he was expected to be in the USNT conversation at some point.

Matt Hedges is not 20. He's 26 so if these ages are based on the time of the World Cup he should be 28.

    Julian Green.

    trending up.

“I think he’s doing really good this season,” Ancelotti said before the Milan contest. “He played the game that we played, did well, scored a goal in the first match, worked really hard in all the games and we are going to see what happens with him. He’s with us, and he has to continue to work hard to improve and I think that he will be important for us in the season.”

One should also put Green at forward, that is where he plays at FC Bayern.

Thanks for doing this! Very informative.

Just wanted to add some suggestions:

The most notable dual-national keeper right now is Danny Rogers (born 1994, age 24 by 2018 WC), who was the 2015-2016 Scottish Championship Keeper of the Year at Falkirk. He's an Irish-American, born in New York to an American father and Irish mother before moving to his mother's homeland at a young age. He's currently the #1 for Republic of Ireland U-21 and will likely remain their #1 through the 2017 UEFA European U-21 Championship. Not likely he'll switch since he has a good chance to make it to the Irish senior squad (and as their senior #1), but given his accomplishments so far, he would be good enough to be somewhere in the USMNT conversation if he did, even if only with the reserves at this point.

A notable dual-national left back is Niko Hamalainen (born 1997, age 21 by 2018 WC), who was born and raised in Florida but plays for Finland U-21 and has already played for Queens Park Rangers senior squad in friendlies. Again, not likely he'll switch since Finland clearly likes him and have already given him a U-21 callup, but he would be good enough to be in the US conversation if he did.

Marlon Fossey (born 1998, just short of age 20 by 2018 WC), from Los Angeles, has become a regular starter with US U-19 and US U-20 at right back. His agent has posted on BigSoccer that he's on the fringe of breaking into the Fulham senior squad. Among the 2020 prospects, he's clearly ahead of Antonee Robinson, and probably about level with Matt Olosunde.

Josh Gatt (born later 1991, age 26 by 2018 WC) should be on here somewhere. I know he's injury-prone, but he was one of our most talented wingers when healthy, and has started for the USMNT before. He made our 2013 Gold Cup squad. Klinsmann likes him. He's been training with Boyd and Gyau during recovery.

Kenny Saief (born late 1993, age 24 by 2018 WC), born in Florida but raised in Israel, isn't cap-tied to Israel yet and, as a member of one of the best teams in the Belgian Pro League and with Champions League experience, probably deserves a spot in the notable dual-nationals section for attacking/wide mids unless he's actually cap-tied to Israel. He's expressed (or at least feigned) interest in the USMNT before.

Among central/defensive midfielders, Ander Egiluz (born 1998, age 20 by 2018 WC) of Athletic Bilbao and US U-20 is a top 2020 prospect. Among attacking midfielders, Kyle Scott (born late 1997, age 20 by 2018 WC) of Chelsea and US U-20 is a top 2020 prospect. They were both born abroad to American mothers.

I think Timothy Tillman (born 1999) deserves an inclusion in the notable dual-national section for attacking/wide midfielders. I realize he'd only be 19.5 years old by the start of the 2018 WC, but he's already been making Bayern Munich's senior squad in various preseason friendlies. He's also openly expressed interest in the US, and the USSF has been pursuing both him and his younger brother (Malik, who is already capped by US U-15's). If there is any one young dual-national who Klinsmann might ask to switch to the US in exchange for a ticket to the World Cup, it might be Tillman, similar to the arrangement JK had with Julian Green in 2014.

One more mention, since I totally glossed over MLS in my post above. I think Jesse Gonzalez (born 1995, age 23 by 2018 WC) of FC Dallas should be considered as a noteworthy dual-national keeper for this pool. Klinsmann thought well enough of him to call him up to USMNT January camp this year; Gonzalez withdrew at the last moment because he was provisionally cap-tied to Mexico (due to representing them at the 2015 U-20 World Cup) and wasn't sure whether he was ready to file the one-time switch to the US. Gonzalez actually said he would strongly consider playing for the US since it is where he was born and raised and plays his club soccer, but it is his family who has been pressuring him to play for Mexico. So he is personally open to playing for the US. Furthermore, Gonzalez was called up for training camp for Mexico U-23 in prep for the Olympics but did NOT make the provisional squad nor final squad. If he feels he will have trouble breaking into El Tri, he might be more willing to file the one-time switch. Overall, I'd say he and Rogers are the two best young dual-national keepers right now who are not with the USSF.

Call up for the next round of WCQ added. I updated some of the clubs for some of the players (Yedlin, Bedoya, Guzan & Stanko). I could use the help to see if I missed any other players.

So far there have been (or will be) 48 possible call-ups/rosters since the 2014 WC...

8 Rosters/Camps: (1)2015 Jan Camp, (2)GC Provisional roster, (3)Gold Cup Roster, (4)C Cup Provisional roster, (5)C Cup Roster, (6)2016 Jan Camp, (7)Copa Preliminary Roster, (8)Copa America Roster

    40 Games: (1)Czech; (2)Ecuador & (3)Honduras; (4)Colombia & (5)Ireland; (6)Chile & (7)Panama; (8)Denmark & (9)Switzerland; (10)Mexico; (11)Netherlands & (12)Germany; (13)Guatemala; (14)Honduras, (15)Haiti, (16)Panama, (17)Cuba, (18)Jamaica & (19)Panama; (20)Peru & (21)Brazil; (22)Mexico & (23)Costa Rica; (24)St. Vincent & the Grenadines & (25)Trinidad & Tobago; (26)Iceland & (27)Canada; (28)Guatemala & (29)Guatemala: (30) Puerto Rico, (31) Ecuador, (32) Bolivia; (33) Colombia, (34) Costa Rica, (35) Paraguay, (36) Ecuador, (37) Argentina & (38) Colombia; (39) St. Vincent & the Grenadines & (40) Trinidad & Tobago

    Rules for this pool:

    • 1rst number = Minutes played, total minutes from after the WC
    • 2nd number = Call ups, total call ups from after the WC
    • Guys in green are recent additions to this cycle or have yet to be called up in this cycle
    • Guys in blue are/were on the most current roster

I had to fix some errors. I had Pulisic and Arriola on here twice.

    -------------------------------

Call up for the next round of WCQ added. I updated some of the clubs for some of the players too (Yedlin, Bedoya, Guzan & Stanko). I could use the help to see if I missed any other players.

So far there have been (or will be) 48 possible call-ups/rosters since the 2014 WC...

8 Rosters/Camps: (1)2015 Jan Camp, (2)GC Provisional roster, (3)Gold Cup Roster, (4)C Cup Provisional roster, (5)C Cup Roster, (6)2016 Jan Camp, (7)Copa Preliminary Roster, (8)Copa America Roster

    40 Games: (1)Czech; (2)Ecuador & (3)Honduras; (4)Colombia & (5)Ireland; (6)Chile & (7)Panama; (8)Denmark & (9)Switzerland; (10)Mexico; (11)Netherlands & (12)Germany; (13)Guatemala; (14)Honduras, (15)Haiti, (16)Panama, (17)Cuba, (18)Jamaica & (19)Panama; (20)Peru & (21)Brazil; (22)Mexico & (23)Costa Rica; (24)St. Vincent & the Grenadines & (25)Trinidad & Tobago; (26)Iceland & (27)Canada; (28)Guatemala & (29)Guatemala: (30) Puerto Rico, (31) Ecuador, (32) Bolivia; (33) Colombia, (34) Costa Rica, (35) Paraguay, (36) Ecuador, (37) Argentina & (38) Colombia; (39) St. Vincent & the Grenadines & (40) Trinidad & Tobago
