I know this is what the club has released, so I'm not picking on your post. What company makes this uniform? Is this just a made up kit and not truly a representation of the club's look? It just looks a lot like the kits in the expansion forums when everyone is making up new looks for the newest team. Again, not being critical or trolling - just curious if this is real or Memorex...
Not positive but would guess since they did a big unveil on these that they are it. Probably working on deciding the company that will produce or maybe shirt sponsor but would be lying if. I said I knew for sure.
I heard some scuttle butt over the weekend about the Hounds having a new kit this year, but it'll be a couple months before we hear about it (if at all).
I don't think the company was ever said. I had looked around, but never saw a release. I just saw this tweeted though, so it appears Admiral has another team in USL Pro.
The jersey looks very close to the original pics released. They look good. I like what Admiral has done with a lot of lower division team jerseys.
The Hounds are keeping their black and yellow kits that look like this- They did upgrade the lettering and sponsors so now they're actually screen printed instead of having that shiny tape look, and the sponsors aren't in giant black boxes. It looks much nicer now (though I'm sitll not a fan of spelling out Riverhounds down the side). Sponsors are the same. Also they're getting rid of the blue jersey, though I don't know if anything will replace it.
Yes, I saw your other post about not being a fan of their work. I happen to think they are giving the teams unique looks which are much better than using "stock" Nike or Adidas kits that any youth club could buy. But hey, that's just some massive guy's opinion.
I love the yellow (gold?) color, and I like the stripe. Reminds me of the early days (but the colors were black and white, IIRC). Not so sure about the sponsor showing vertically as it does. Not even Ajax does that now. And yes, finally someone else says something about "RIVERHOUNDS" running down the side. That alone is a merchandise deal-killer for me.
No doubt about the "individuality" of Admiral. I continue to look at their stuff hoping for some better looking/feeling gear, but haven't seen it. With adidas and Nike really sucking in design, I root for anyone that can continue to tap into the market.
