I am moving to Europe and was just wondering what would be the best option for power. Do I need a converter? etc.

    Its a dell.

If you have any tips let me know.

    thanks

Most laptop chargers are 100-240 volts, so you should be fine.

But I would check with Dell just to make sure.

You'd be advised to get an all-purpose plug converter kit. Mine came in handy last time I was there. Also, if you want to use the phone line for a modem, they have some different phone jack possibilities, too.

I actually ran around Ottawa looking for something for my laptop (leaving for England in a week). When I came home I noticed that my adapter is 100-240 volts, so I should be okay. Although, I do have to purchase a plug adapter.

for electricty youll be fine, just make sure youve got a plug converter.

you can pick one up for like a dime.

and make sure that you dont forget that the UK and EU have different plugs.

You can pick up those converter plugs at the airport, before you leave across the water.

    Too easily done.

That's what you'll need (or at worst, something like it).
