I feel you. The thing is, we can reopen, so folks can keep BigSoccering away while we finish, or we can be 100% done and be closed for much much longer. We've always chosen the former and by browsing around the other forums I can tell people are just plugging along. I'm gonna check out of this thread as it's keeping 1 of the 3 of us away from work!
The one thing that I definitely miss---and hope will be restored--was the little arrow on my subscribed threads that would take me to the latest reply to a specific thread. Don't see it or anything that would perform that task.
The new skin has fixed my issue with the font...much easier to read now. Keep the improvements coming!
As someone who bitched about the color scheme, I have to come here and say kudos for fixing it. It now looks nicer than the old site without question for me. Hopefully I can say the same about how the site works soon, too.
when you are at the Watched Threads page if you have Unread Posts click on the blue dot before the Thread Title..
What is this business of some threads reading locked with the terminology: "(You have insufficient privileges to reply here.)" I'm locked out of the Boxing thread in other Sports, for instance. What gives?
User groups and forum perms are being fixed. The site cache has to rebuild first, and that is going to take most of the night. We are still importing old threads as well.
Just a few concerns from the Argentina forum posters. Other than that I think It's growing on us like a fungus.
Another vote in favor of the old left-side navigation bar. It was a great feature. The quick navigation is fine in principal, but it's not quick. You need to be able to collapse down the forums that you don't use.
