Here is the 35 man US Revolution squad and 9 man coaching staff for the 2nd International Cup to be held in Melbourne in August. A feature of the squad is that there are 3 sets of brothers selected. There are 16 players from the 2002 Cup selected again. All players are US born and developed and 6 of them are playing in Australia this season in various amateur teams. The coaching staff is all new.
This trip to Australia for the new players will be an eye-opener and a terrific experience. They will get to see why this great home grown in Australia sport is the biggest football code nationally by far in the country. Perhaps one day soon a USAFL player will be drafted into the AFL, which will be a huge promotion for the US game.
We do not have any age, height and weight stats available.

    Babytiger,
The actual competition starts on Wednesday morning August 3. So probably the teams will fly in on the Monday or Tuesday, but do not really know for sure.
The Essendon footy club website will likely post something closer to the date on the US teams movements to and from the club.
Hope you get some interviews and photos
    Cheers
