Our A squad was whooping up on Spain while Mexico bragged about beating our C Team. The last legitimate Gold Cup was in 2007.
The last Gold Cup was 2009, and Mexico won fair and square. It's stupid that this tournament happens every two years, but the fact of the matter is that it does, and Bob fielded arguably the weakest/deepest USMNT squad in history. His squad decisions were questionable at best, but it doesn't matter in the end.

I agree it's stupid they play the Gold Cup every two years. Why not just do it every even year between World Cups like in Europe?
