    Buddle, Clark, Beasley, Beckerman? wut?

    Based on that, I'd go:

[LINEUP-4-3-3]Adu, Donovan, Shea, Bradley, Edu, Jones, Chandler, Bocanegra, Goodson, Cherundolo, Howard[/LINEUP-4-3-3]

I'd like to see Adu given some sort of a link-up\trequartista role rather than sliding him out wide, preferably in behind Donovan with Shea on one side and Bradley on the other in more of a 4-2-3-1 option. Still think we'll reach our potential if we use Donovan as a lead striker.

Beasley is listed as a forward?

I am very happy to see Castillo, Shea, Torres and Orozco on the roster.

Time to see what those guys can do.

Finally...I must say I do like it..So Landon seems to be used in the forward position, as does Adu...I like the list, don't like Clark but whatever and also don't like Shea, but I'm aware I need to see him play a lot more. But from what Ive seen, I don't like him..I'm so happy that Torres is on this list.I can see him shining under this coach..The Beckerman call is interesting, i dig it..I'm really happy, would've liked to have seen BUrnbury called up tho..

The point of having players with skill on the ball is not to have the same starting lineups as before...We have a strong midfield so y the hell would we put 3 holding mf'ers to start..that makes absolutely no sense dude...

Yea, hard to do it with the tag options available. Think I'll stick to using the ------ method.

I wonder if Bradley will even play under Klinsy.

Is Bradley only capable of playing as a holding mid, though? I'm certainly not convinced of it. I think you can let Edu sit deep and give Jones and Bradley some leeway to move forward. They're both very talented passers.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Torres in there, as I'm a big proponent of his, but with no Holden available - who would you rather use? Beckerman and Clark? Please.

    I'm happy with it.
Torres gets another look and of course we know Klinsmann likes Donovan.

Will the 10 European based players get in the match for sure? Coming over for a mid-week match, during critical pre-season training with their clubs, means they should see the field, right?

Remember that klinsy is married to the attacking formations.

Well there's our difference, Bradley is slow on the ball with mediocre passing skills..I don't see him as anything but a holding MF...If anything, to me, Edu is better on the ball..

I hope Rico gets looked at in the center of D.

All this points out again is how damn slow/inexperienced/weak or D is.

Chandler truly was a gift from heaven at this point.

It's nice JK brought Orozco in, but I don't think it's going to be a long visit.
Castillo wide out left would be where I play him, if he plays (7 subs says probably).

I expect a lot of subs and a real mish mash overall. If BB didn't care about friendlies my bet is JK (going on Germany experience) cares even less.

I just want to see players go out and play smart, hard and fearless.

Only so much that can be done in this short amount of time.

Step up or move aside. Show worth or move along.

    ...and so it begins.

Michael Orozco? how well has he been playing in Mexico? i haven't heard jack crap from this guy in a long time. I can understand the Castillo call-up given the fact we have no real left backs.

And could have probably done without Bocanegra, Beasley, or Beckerman due to their age, but it's not absurd to see them in camp.

    My line-up from this roster:

    --------------Buddle---Donovan*------------
    --------------------Adu--------------------
    -----------Torres----------Bradley----------
    --------------------Jones-------------------
    Castillo--------------------------------Cherundolo
    ------------Bocanegra---Goodson-------------
    --------------------Howard-------------------

    *Donovan given a free role.

    -Pearce (Castillo)
    -Chandler (Cherundolo)
    -Ream (Bocanegra)
    -Edu (Bradley)
    -Agudelo (Buddle)
    -Shea (Donovan)

    not used: Hamid

I haven't seen Gonzales play much, but I get the feeling coaches aren't all that thrilled with his capabilities.. I've only seen him a few times and he seems slow on the ball..Would it be safe to assume that he's made in the same mold as an onyewu????

That back pairing will get burned badly...a lot.

We better keep possession because that would be handing a half dozen quality chances over on a platter right there.

Klinsy will move Bradley to LB if we can't find another LB.

Anyone know why Diskerud wasn't called up? Was really looking forward to watching him play with the Nats again.

I would've left off Beckerman or Clark for Mix.
