Alright US supporters at the match tomorrow night. Be loud Be proud! I know you will. Unfortunately I couldnt make it, so someone stand in the gap for me and many others who bleed red, white and blue. Be united in our support. sing, chant and drum. give 'em hell. But please don't get bounced out of the game. Talk junk; don't throw junk.
My plane leaves at six in the morning tomorrow. I will see you all in Houston !!! Come on US !!!!!!!! Chase
A few locals and a few out-of-towners met up at the Mezz and went to Gingerman's. Fun stuff. Anywho, Bernardo Fallas, local writer in Houston, says there are fewer than 3K tickets remaining And enjoy this piece... Link
Indeed. I'm getting by battle gear ready and I'm headed out to the bars to start the pre-pre-tailgate
I'm with CELT on this. It's 1:22 and I'm trying to figure out how I can get out of here earlier. Problem is, I have to wait on 2 other people before I can even get downtown. Since ticketmaster did not get my tickets to me, I now get to wait in Will Call line...argh otherwise I'd give those suckers their tickets and be geting Schloshed with the Schwabe!
Great meeting US fans there...I flew solo and met quite a few...notably the 2 guys from FC Underground (in Phoenix) and the guy from Oklahoma who rode the bus to the airport and talked soccer with I won't talk about the game... We won 3-1 nuff said.
I met the rowdiest fans that apparently are die-hard dynamo fans (one of them had a dynamo tattoo)...they were awesome to watch the game with. i was in 117, row b...AMAZING atmosphere where I was...
There are actually two guys with Dynamo tats. Both were at the tailgate, but one was "batting for the other side" The atmosphere was great, and loud...I didn't hear a word of what the announcer was saying. Had a blast, even if some of it is a blur (alcohol does that to ya...)
It was a great tailgate, one of the best I have ever been to, and the atmosphere inside the stadium was crazy. Too bad the security in houston are the same as everywhere else Chase
Tailgate rocked and so did the game!! Our 32 hr + roadtrip from Denver was very much worth it!! You know the tables have turned when the mexies celebrate a tie... Hope you like the photos...
I guess I was on the wrong side of the stadium...i was across from the Sams Army and to be honest, I was going to creep my way in there at half time, but it didn't seem to wild there either. I even saw those Mejico fans RETURN to the red section! I was more disappointed in missing the tailgate...couldn't find it. I'm definitely energized to go to more LA Galaxy games though. Like the last US game I went to, good showing of Red supporters. This Ajaxied Oranje was impressed
Already posted these in the Dynamo forum, but thought y'all might like to see them too. Photo Set Slideshow Videos
