Great game from both teams. Deserved win for Mexico, they've proven to be the best in the region. Dos Santos finally found his goalscoring form with the best goal of the Cup, and Mexico as a whole seem to have finally won the psychological battle against the US.

Bradley (if he keeps his job) will likely take alot of flak, but at least he tried to attack Mexico instead of playing bunker & counter like past US teams. His biggest mistake was taking out Adu with the US 2 goals down. Neither Dempsey nor Howard showed up tonight, a Man U caliber keeper should have stopped Barrera's outstep shot. There were a couple of ugly fouls, one that could have been a red, but at least the game remained under control.

Sigh, we have some work to do.
Howard is a world class keeper, but I've never seen him have a great game for the nationals.
    Jeez Bradley has a cannon.
If the offside were called, or the post moved 6", it would have been a more exciting game.
Despite the Keystone cops routine, that chip was an amazing shot that could have beaten Howard at his best.

Happy to see Dos Santos get some shine. He's much better then the La Liga bottomfeeder he was this year.

That chip by Gio was the goal of the tournament. Howard let the states down. Great game. Could have gone either way. Both sides had great chances. Mexico's finishing was superior.

México was the better team from top to bottom Today. They looked dangerous to score on every play. Basically the USA let Mexico do whatever they wanted and were worked down the middle, down the flanks and even with long passes over the defense.

Horrible game by the USA midfield, but it should bad been expected they have never been good at possession and for all the hate torrado and Castro got they dominated the center of the pitch.

I didn't think that the USA defense was that weak against speedy players. It was embarrassing how easy Mexico kept beating their man off the dribble.

Congrats Mexicans, that was a fun game to watch.

Screening which US defender? Your #14 was flat footed and made no attempt at getting to the ball

Mexico did their thing last night so u gotta give props. They just wanted it more. The US defense isn't good enough and it's time to bring in the young guns. Howard also let the US down getting beat near post and Barrera's second goal. Hopefully this tournament is a wake up call to the USMNT.

Have to second that. I'll add that Mexico was flat out deadly in converting chances to goals.

U.S. fans are blasting at Bradley, without realizing that for the first time, the U.S. played like a good team, they got killed because we are better, but at least its a start. Before they always played against Mexico with a small team mentality of waiting for the rival and hoping for a lucky counter attack.

If you guys want to get better, you should keep Bradley, and fix what needs fixing.

It's true the players and coach were superior, but you need to learn to appreciate what you got. Bradley is definitely better than Arena.

Bradley and Arena suck. We need a new coach because Bradley lacks when it comes to tactics. Of course we need a coach that wants our team to possess the ball more too.

Do not fire Bradley..that would be a bonehead thing to do. Congrats To Mexico for a great game and to the USA. After the game Dempsey went around and congratulated every Mexican player very classy thing to do.

same. me vale lo que hacen con Bradley. Estos nads lloran por todo like how they lost to Spain and almost every nad fan bitched to USSF about scheduling a friendly with WC champions Spain even after all the smack talk about owning them with another "dos a cero" like in the previous confed cup. Most nads need to grow up and get out of that "scapegoat" mentality and see what futbol is about...fun and excitement in end. Most can agree with me that yesterdays game was the most entertaining experience in a final in some years.

The best team won. Simple as that. Mexico will represent us very well at the 2013 Confederations Cup.

As for Bob Bradley, it's unlikely the US fires him.

The US has had 4 coaches since the end of World Cup 1990. (Milutinovic, Sampson, Arena, Bradley). They crave stability in this regard.

Going into World Cup qualifying, the USMNT MUST find some reliable strikers.

Atletico Madrid has already expressed interest in Juan Agudelo. He may be our hope. The strikers that were supposed to be in their primes right now (Eddie Johnson, Kenny Cooper, etc.) haven't developed into international caliber forwards. They're just not good enough. And Jozy Altidore needs to take the "next step" also.
