FYI. No Japanese shots since the 22nd minute.

Have the US been as effective as MatchTracker/stats make it sound?

Hucles makes it 4-1. Another fading cross. ;)

Brasil-Germany [result]Same score, Brasil 4-1. Two brilliant counterattacks early in the 2nd half put the game away.[/result]

Sawa with a strong header. If on frame, it would've been 4-2.

    I hope we're this lucky against Germany/Brazil

Cheney on for Rodriguez. 83rd minute -- and seemingly one-way traffic.

79' 1-3 Sadaguchi fires a fine, flat drive from 25m with the box completely empty -- Solo hardly moves as she catches it face-high on her line.

80' 1-4 Hucles cuts hard endline, crosses from right, it's drifting too much goalward to reach the far post -- oh my -- it's a Ronaldinho over Seaman cross ...

    Two errant crosses!! :D

OH Yeah!! Takin' the game out of the hands of Swiss Miss.

The US girls better be on their best behavior so they don't get eliminated from the final due to card accumulation.

The PoS in a headband will be looking for any excuse now.

Knock it around and possess. Clear under severe pressure and regroup on the the throw ins.

The ball has been in the American third a lot in the last few minutes.

But other than Sawa's header, nothing too threatening.

Cox for Mitts. Looks like the US will go on cruise control.

Or less. Nothing this referee does would shock or surprise me, or most of us.
