Well we actually have CB's, mid's, and keeper to play consistently negative now.

i like some of our players a great deal but to be clear we were outplayed. The nature of the game itself allows for singular results to be stolen but this is not a style to aspire to in the quest for an actual world cup.

Steffen's only 23? Damn. I was thinking he was older for as long as he's been around. Time to get that hype train going.

I think a color rush kit like the NFL does would be great. And instead of pride numbers maybe just a shoulder patch on a limited kit or something. Because it was hard to look at.

And the TF1 guys doing their version of The Twins "we're getting aggravated" in their post-match commentary.

French foot commentators are known for their controlled emotion thing.

He did well. He is one of those non-flashy, solid defenders every team needs.

Please no, those are even worse. You'll end up with games like the Red Bulls - Portland one from earlier this season where I genuinely couldn't tell the teams apart.

I’m sorry man did Vegas take your money? You do realize 2m people live here for cheap in huge houses with pools based on your overspending?

    A. Young team. Step carefully
    B. And even so, we aren't France

I’d gladly go to a WC playing that style. It’s how most games end up

Different types of color blindness, probably. Red-green is most common.

Dark v. Light makes games so much easier to watch.

Hope some of you stick around for the Red Bulls-Crew match. A lot of interesting little subplots involving the US national team there as well.
