PBP: USA vs. Canada (QF)

Kai is trying much harder to get teammates involved. I like what I see. Except for the bad finishing. That one was close. Missed who fouled.

 

the nbc feed is pissing me off. The commentary is up with the video feed, but the play-by-play is about 30 seconds ahead of the feed.

 

Canada has created far fewer chances, but looked dangerous on most of them.

 

that sequence reminds me of why Solo makes me nervous sometimes. She just doesn't do as well as she should coming out for crosses.

I agree. If she was able to settle down we'd be up 4-1 right now.

 

I am getting rather nervous.

 

I had some Brasilian players on my OTH team who showed up late to a game. I sat them the first half. We led 2-1 at the half. 10 minutes in to the 2nd half we were up 5-1.

 

Come on Heath! Possession! We need to keep possession and not take stupid shots like that! GEEZ

 

Normally that shot by Cheney isn't a bad one but I want to see the team hold the ball and go to the corner. I missed the foul there but it goes for us...

 

Here's hoping Tobin Heath doesn't play again this tourney.

 

That was a powerful shot, seeing it in the back of the net [wrong side] I thought it was in
