Yeah. It's even worse for people flying to the match who don't want to buy a plane ticket without certainty about match tickets. Losing my enthusiasm.
I didn't want to wait anymore so I went ahead and bought the plane tickets. I plan to attend the Yankees-Red Sox game the day after and then visit family in the area too. If this game ends up being played in some other city I'm either going to miss it or end up paying a lot to change my flights. Not happy with US Soccer that they can't get this deal done.
The Costa Rica paper announced that it going to be played at Red Bull Arena. Not surprised anything USA soccers. They allowed Jurgen to cut Donovan in the WC. They are a joke
Now we're talking. The dreaded lottery seems out. Look for presales on Ticketmaster around July 20th, July 24th at the latest.
the article says: "Tickets go on sale to the public Tuesday, July 25, at 10 a.m. ET at ussoccer.com." Not sure what the pre-sale timeline is either.
Changed my hotel rate to the prepaid one to save a couple bucks. According to Wahl this is the first match "that matters" to be played in the NYC area. I expect demand to be crazy.
USSC: - Priority presale will begin Tuesday, July 11, at 10 a.m. ET and will end Friday, July 14, at 8 a.m. ET. AO: - sale will start Tuesday, 7/11. All current members will receive sale details via email. PUBLIC: - Tickets go on sale to the public Tuesday, July 25, at 10 a.m. ET at ussoccer.com. I'm at Element Harrison as well, early morning flight Saturday. Let's get it on.....
My email says, "As a member of the U.S. Soccer Membership or elite Circle member supporting the U.S. Soccer Development Fund, you will receive pre-sale access to tickets in advance of the other pre-sales and the public sale. Your Priority presale will begin Tuesday, July 11, at 10 a.m. ET and will end Friday, July 14, at 8 a.m. ET. Your code and ticketing link will be sent to you by the end of the day Monday."
for the AO members who do that stuff, I heard that the Night Before Party will be in NYC. I'm trying to decide which side to stay on.
My contact at US Soccer says that tickets start at $75 before fees. Once posted, the Ticketmaster event page should have pricing information. This page (http://www.ussoccer.com/schedule-tickets/20170901-us-mnt-vs-costa-rica) includes a seating map without prices. Mobile only tickets again.
On second thought, there were a lot of Ticos in Red Bull Arena last night. Some say up to half of the stadium. I hope US Soccer supporters and Red Bull season ticket holders buy up most of the tickets as soon as they go on sale next week,.
You have to perform a certain task on Sunil...it is demoralizing, but worth it in my opinion. Or.......you can just go here: http://www.ussoccerstore.com/us00x999916ba.html 4 levels of membership once you join.
does anyone know how many tickets a ussoccer member can get on one account? I believe it used to be 6 for the men's games
Six, according to my USSF contact and the TM event page, which unfortunately does not have pricing information.
