I was having a conversation with someone at work about the massive layoff ESPN is going through and how their current model is a complete failure and they can't see beyond how they have always done things. This got me thinking/hoping, if Serie A had any brains they would approach ESPN about broadcasting SA games and point the the success NBC and Fox have had with EPL and Bundesliga. Even if they get next to nothing for the first couple of years, make the pitch to ESPN that they could get in on the growing sport, compete with their biggest rivals all at a rock bottom price. Sadly, I the league has never been that forward thinking.

i had it solely for coppa italia games since i don't have gol tv. unfortunately, they had technical issues during a few of the games and i couldn't watch. but who am i kidding, i'll throw my money at 'em again next year if the coppa italia's on gol tv again.
I might give them a whirl when the season starts. My neighborhood doesnt have fios capability, and Comcast customers can't do bein connect and don't get fs2.
gotcha... i have directv which is a sports lovers dream, so i get more channels than i know what to do with. (even though i pay way too much for the right to not watch 95% of those channels)

I don't know where to post this. But if you are in Canada, you have to try DAZN streaming service. It seems to be exactly what we sport fans have been waiting for. I reviewed it with details on twitter but in summary it is the Netflix of sport. What many have predicted for years has finally become reality. I am so excited and I hope it becomes successful. $20 CAD/month, first month is free. Can cancel at any time. $150/year. Sports streaming app DAZN launches in Canada with all NFL games for $20 a month http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/dazn-streaming-nfl-1.4214428 894051017158926336 is not a valid tweet id 894052805140283395 is not a valid tweet id 894051723383156736 is not a valid tweet id 894051449696509952 is not a valid tweet id
Sounds awesome. Unfortunately, DAZN streaming in only available in Austria, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and Canada. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DAZN
Any stateside Verizon mobile folk can watch go90 for free. Watched the PSG game that way yesterday with no hiccups. No clue what else they have because nothing else has started.
Just an update on DAZN, I used a German VPN with my Canadian account and got access to the German contents. Basically every big league in Europe and the world. (The Canadian content doesn't have EPL and Bundesliga) ..and they will be showing our friendly against Sevilla too.
so you live in the states, use a german VPN, and bought a canadian account? BRILLIANT! so who wants to take the time to describe to me how to use a VPN? will it work on appletv? it would make my life a whole lot easier!
I use Private Internet Access (https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/) VPN service. It is super easy and very well known and recommended. You download the client and install. They even have a MAC client for you!
DAZN won't let you pay with anything other than a Canadian Credit card though. Even if you bypass it and sign up with the vpn.
