The score at kickoff: 0 - 0 The game is being held at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego and will be on both ESPN2 and the ESPN App/ESPN3 for those not going. But hopefully this thread will be fairly quiet and you'll all be at the game. Given the timing of the San Diego MLS plan being unveiled in its entirety, MLS Commissioner Don Garber being in town for the game, the SD MLS bid being submitted by the deadline on Jan 31, etc... this is a Golden Opportunity for San Diego to show off our collective support of Soccer and hopefully give our city's MLS bid a good bump. So do anything you can to get your friends, family and acquaintances out to this game. Tickets can be found here for as low as $25. https://www.ussoccer.com/schedule-tickets/170129-us-mnt-vs-serbia
Supposedly 11,000+ tickets have been sold so far, which doesn't sound impressive until you realize that's more than any friendly the USMNT held last year. And that number is from before the MLS announcement.
It ended up looking pretty good. Final attendance was 20,079. They had everyone grouped on the north side of the stadium if you weren't there. So we were all packed in nice and tight. It was the best attended USMNT friendly is almost 2 years. And the last time we had a higher attendance, was against a much better opponent than Serbia's C side.
